i watched Ace Bailey highlights for the first time last night and do think he is a franchise guy for a decade+ …. i say Miller is the only player i wouldn't trade at this point. i've never been big on Melo (health, personality/drive) and we have no reason to think he is a 1A Superstar on a championship team. I doubt he's even a #2 on a chip team.

Why would the Lakers get cold feet? If Mark Williams was able to be healthy the Lakers would have a legitimate shot at winning a title this year. They are soooo thin at center this trade not going through basically ended any realistic chance of them winning a title. They wouldn’t do that unless something really concerning showed up

Doug, you said earlier that Lamelo not making an all star would bring light to the Hornets inability to surround talent around Lamelo Ball? But now look here, the only thing that is getting highlighted is Lamelo ‘s injuries. Honestly, he is injured so much because he has rushed back from injuries too soon (ankle and wrist) and he has to do so much heavy lifting on this team. 💡in the last 5 years what players has he played with that can make a serious impact on a playoff team. None. You want to see Lamelo stay healthy put a respectable team around him and you would see a difference. The real problem is not Lamelo’s health but why haven’t the Hornets ever had faith enough to build around Lamelo Ball ? That is the question. Lamelo is the guy that buys the woman (hornets) chocolate and runs around for her but the woman never will love him in the first place. Trade him.
As a Lakers fan The Lakers have always been a classy organization that's player friendly. I think the vagueness of the injuries are in part due to the fact that the Lakers understand they would be hurting Mark William's earning potential by going into detail publicly. Knecht has 0 issues with injuries and is just starting his career, I think it's only fair that the Lakers want that in return. I honestly think the Lakers by voiding the trade tells you how much they wanted Mark to work out but not for just a year or so but for the long term. I believe the Lakers may have known about the injuries but not the extent of the injuries. They also state that what they found had nothing to do with William's back which could indicate an issue that was not told to them by the Hornets.
