New York may have one of the worst defenses in the NBA in the 2024-25 season, but they also have one of the best offenses in the league as well. That combination has been good enough to lead the team to a 36-18 record heading into the All-star break, which is one of the best starts through 54 games in franchise history.

Why would we not start mitch when fully healthy?? Cuz we struggle to beat elite teams thats why smh….somma the contests weren't even competitive 🤦🏾♂️. We're a joke defensively and on the offensive glass without a cat like mitch or hartenstein.

Mitch should be 6th Man until the playoffs, off injury. What kind of question is this?! 😅
Josh is a Swiss Army Knife, moving him to the 6th Man in the playoffs COULD be clutch. If Mitch just helps us get 10 rebounds a game, I'm good.
Neither should start. Start Landry Shamet and bring Payne, McBride, Hart, Achuiwa, and Robinson off the bench. Depth problems officially solved! It ain't hard people. Why does it take someone who is not a Knicks fan to tell you this?
I like how you love to live in the past when you judge Mitchell Robinson versus the Cavaliers Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. Unfortunately, in the real world where we all actually live, things change. Some players get better over time. Other players don't get better especially when such a player has basically been injured for the last two years since that series with the Cavs occurred. Don't count your Mitchell Robinson chickens before they hatch. You might be disappointed.
Robinson of the beach and sometimes in there with Towns will be so exciting to watch.

Mitch will open up the bench scoring because of rebounds . Protect him from foul trouble early by bringing him back slowly n at the same time the bench gets better. 🎉

Don’t care who STARTS, it’s all about minutes. Mitch should be eased back into the rotation. Once he is a full participant then it should be matchup-specific….this seems obvious

Mitch should start, Hart gets most of the mins
The Knicks have the worst bench in the league they need Hart there more. Mitch starting puts everyone back to their natural positions and a bigger and better defensive lineup.
