New owner’s only qualification to run NBA team is getting married to an Adelson daughter. In way over his head. If you are going to trade the biggest star in basketball because he gets hurt too much then don’t trade for a player who never plays. Seems sort of basic but Mavericks owner thought Shaq was a hard worker. Now he wants to punish fans because he was stupid. Cuban should not be off hook because he allowed Adelsons to buy team.

I think if I was a fan there, I'd refuse to leave if I was asked. Put me handcuffs for saying "fire Nico"? Sounds like that could be a grounds for a lawsuit…to literally put your hands on someone for saying something….not cursing, not being drunk, not threatening violence. What if someone brought a Trump sign? We all know Cuban is a flaming liberal…is he going to kick out Trump supporters? In Texas?! Anyway you look at it, it's not a smart decision by the Mavs. They should just let fans blow off some steam as long as they're not destroying property or doing anything violent. The Mavs are just making a bad situation worse.

The easiest answer is for the fans to stop going to games. The NBA and its players don't care about fans anymore. Stop going and watching.
The Mavs ownership and management has just been showing how weak and pathetic they are since trading Luka. I hope they planned on jumping to a different city soon because Dallas ain't forgiving any of the people involved in this trade any time soon. Either way, I don't see Nico having a job through the end of the season.
Cuban is getting it because he sold the team. It doesn’t have to be fair. We are fans. We believed he loved out team and then he sells out for some cash. He has plenty. But he obviously loves money more than the mavericks and we feel betrayed. Like I said. It doesn’t have to be fair. It is what it is.
This trade is really unprecedented. Sure there maybe a few comparisons from the past but this is on a whole other level of money and influence. One can see it as a “win now” move or not wanting to pay Luka the super max. But everyone sees this as a shady move to get the team to Vegas and the owners have enough money that not of this will affect their bottom line. So if I was a mavs fan I’d totally voice my displeasure however tf I want.
Nothing will get ugly for anyone. The Lakers have their superstar and how competitive the Mavs are is not exactly “high on the agenda” for the league and the owners. The NBA is a business whose purpose is to make money for the owners and the league is not exactly worried about losing the Mavs’ fan base. And by the way, this is a city whose fans still support the Cowboys 😂😂😂 Do you see Jerry Jones or the NFL owners worrying about how the Cowboys do every year? They are so not worried that they allowed the team’s quarterback to take up a second job as a standup comedian with his new routine “the Boys are very close to a Super Bowl.” The entire country is still laughing and apparently the next routine by Dak will be called “. . .and I will be the MVP.” 😂😂😂 The Cowboys are very close to a SB, we gave up Luka for AD because defense wins championships and next is “yes, you can pee on a Dallas sports fan, why not?” I feel bad for that city’s fans and I am a Giants/Knicks fan. At least up here no one pretends to care about sporting success and the fans.
What's gonna sting here for Mavs fans is if in 3-10 years… we see Luka winning championships with the Lakers and the Mavericks turned into a lottery team.

4/9 will be nothing like LeBron’s Cleveland return game. There was anger towards him from the fans back then. I have no doubt Luka will be showered with love and appreciation!
