One day we're gonna find out what happened, unfortunately I don't think things will get any better for the Mavs anyway, I can see the franchise falling into obscurity over the coming years. These owners clearly have no idea what they're doing. This is probably all just the beginning of what will likely be, decades of mismanagement.
This trade in future years will be looked back on with a mixture of confusion, bewilderment and ultimately sadness for a once thriving franchise. The biggest losers here are the Mavs fans, they're the ones that are cheated.
Luka will win championships with the Lakers, it will definitely happen. It's clear that the NBA are grooming him to be the next face of the league. He's going to be just fine.
Nico will eventually leave Dallas and possibly the country, I can see him trying to get away from all this eventually, especially if the franchise starts to fade into obscurity. I wouldn't be surprised if he's probably looking for a way out of his contract now 😂.
AD will eventually leave Dallas because he'll also want to distance himself from all this and I don't think he even has the mental fortitude to withstand the inevitable animosity and dislike he'll receive from fans.
Unfortunately I doubt Kyrie will be signing any extensions, I believe he's going to be in free agency end of the season and I'm going to assume he'll look for the exit.
It's really just the fans, the only real losers are, as always, the fans.
