best player available regardless of position. Needs? They NEED an offensive creator better than Herro. A Donovan Mitchell type that can take over a game. Don't know if they'll find it but Tyrese Maxey being picked in the late 1st round should inspire hope.
A starting Point guard is clearly their biggest need by far.

Using a FRP for a "backup big" is an atrocious idea. Get a 2 way shot creator at the guard or wing position. Whoever most fits that mold take that. We desperately need shot creation.

The player always ends up more valuable than the pick with Miami, like the 15th pick doesn't get you much, but a player like Ware etc is far more valuable.
They have the best development program in the NBA, why rob that infrastructure of the opportunity to get a return on investment.
Its time to keep all their picks, let'em cook and build the new era of Heat greatness from the ground up using the existing foundation of Bam, Herro, Ware, JJJ & Jovic
