I have a hot take about the all star game: players not giving effort during the game is fine and nobody actually cares about it, they just like to complain. I was fine with this format, but the original one was fine. NBA is the only sport I can think of where people bitch and complain constantly about all star game. The pro bowl has been a joke forever and no one minds. But people complained so much about nba all star, saying "it ruins the league" (which is dumb as hell), Adam changed the format. And now people complain about the new format. They'll complain no matter what, just leave it as it was.
