The Milwaukee Bucks turned heads at the NBA Trade Deadline by sending away franchise legend and former NBA champion Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Kyle Kuzma. The trade didn’t make much sense at first, but it turns out Kuz is a great fit for the Bucks, and here’s why!

The truth is, the Reason they traded for Kuzma is because its a way to get similar production you got from Middleton while being younger, less injury prone and he's cheaper. A LOT cheaper than Middleton going forward. Kuzma's contract with the Wizards was front loaded. So his contract actually gets cheaper as time goes on. Which with the new CBA is an AMAZING luxury to have to help put help around Giannis while still being a player that I think still has a lot of room to improve. Kuzma is also 6'9 while Middleton was 6'7 so he also brings size. Is he the same shooter Khris was? No not at all. But he's still an improvement over Khris. The best ability is availability and Kuzma plays more than Middleton does.
Kuz was overrated when he was in LA and but he aint underrated … he just trash and DOC rivers is even worse , I just hope Giannis leaves next season so I dont have to watch this anymore

It's a great move. Khris really has been missing games and being load managed just like Embiid and Kawhi although he has avoided the spotlight and does have that one playoff championship that bought him a lot of reputation. I think with Khris vs Kuzma, you can't go by averages anymore because Khris has missed probably 100 more games in a 3 year timespan while getting paid 60-70 million dollars more? It's pretty insane how some Bucks fans still love Khris like it's 2021 when at best he's got zero chance of ever playing one healthy season and is much more likely to become an Udonis Haslem figure. He jipped the Bucks for 3 years and 100 mil and that's why Giannis is stuck with Doc Rivs, Andre Jackson, and Taurean Prince. Kuzma – functional. Khris – functional 10% of the time. Not a matter of stats or averages anymore is it?
I knew Kuz was a good pickup… I think we should trade old beat-up knees Giannis and old Dame next year for 3 or 4 young, tall, fast, smart dudes. To keep the ball rollin well into the future, while Giannis n Dame are still worth something

Not a Bucks fan but you are way better off going forward with Kuzma. Kuzma was bored and uninspired in Washington. Now he has something to play for and he will engage and help the Bucks more than Middleton was ever going to be able to again. Aren't Bucks fans sick and tired of seeing Middleton not at 100 percent and sinking the team's chances? You have to keep Giannis happy. A most of the time broke dick Middleton is not going to keep Giannis happy.
