The NBA All-Star Game is an absolute disaster, Shedeur Sanders smokescreens & Mock Draft Monday

The NBA All-Star game was a disaster from both an on-court product point & from a production view.

The Cleveland Cavaliers who made the All-Star team had a nice showing, but this is an unfixable situation until the players decide they want to play hard again.

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly fascinated with Shedeur Sanders, but is that love real or is it a smokescreen to try and get a team like the Giants or Raiders to trade up to that #2 pick?

    The only problem, u cant do an international competition mid-season, NO WAY. Players need more time to play together like the olympics to make that be entertaining and competitive (at least 2-3 weeks), and after the competition is done ur right back to regular season. As a post season thing, maybe, but mid-season never would happen. This also would keep in mind scheduling this with international teams (that have their own contracts and rulesets).

    IMO, i dont think there is anything u can do to fix the Allstar Game, inless they move it to post season. They have too large of contracts and the competition is at the worst possible timing of the season (2/3 of the way through the season, when players know theyre fighting for playoff spots) for players to risk their seasons for it. If a player is injured during the competition imagine how devestating that is for the team. At least if its post season, u have time to recover and doeant risk In-Season management.

    All-star game was more competitive and defense played in last 10 years…too many breaks. But still better. All i heard was complaining about 2 Steph half court shots. It used to be 15. People just want find things to be mad at. Minus all the breaks, it was entertaining and kept me captivated – as an hooper myself.

    The difference in the Abdul Carter versus a quarterback conversation is you can hit on Abdul Carter and still be at the top of the draft the next next year. You can miss on Abdul Carter and be at the top of the draft the next year. If you hit on the quarterback, you will not be drafting at the top of the draft the next year. If you miss on the quarterback You will be drafting at the top of the draft, the same exact situation that if you hit or miss on Abdul Carter. This is why you need to go for the option that does not lead you to drafting at the top of the draft.

    18:20-Especially the Sunday PD, as thick as an encyclopedia. You could actually hurt someone if you hit 'em with that paper. It probably weighed at least 5 lbs. 😅

    I can't believe Jay suggested that "national pride" would make the NBA All-Star Game better. Jay, the players actually need to HAVE pride in their nation for that idea to work. Good luck finding a single NBA All-Star who loves the USA as much as those hockey players do. These are the same losers whining about their country "oppressing" them as they get paid FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR to sit out games whenever their toe hurts. Talk about having no understanding of someone's mentality. An NBA player would be more likely to boo the National Anthem himself than fight an opposing player for booing it.

    1:19:35-I'll agree with that. As far as the WNBA team, try the college approach, call 'em the "Lady Cavaliers"! Why not? Gilbert is owner of both clubs, so, if the not the Rockers, go with the "Lady Cavaliers".

    All star was hideous/boring/non competitive/too long/uninspiring…just say few things…Iwill never watch again unless it goes back to original format

    Man the all stars would be great. NBA vs the world in slam dunk, 3 point, game, NHL, NFL, MLB, it is worth it. Tennis, Golf, every sport. It helps superstars in the other countries get a chance to show their talents and come play in USA. since we are the juggernaut of the world. USA is the top alpha of the world and we are the best of the best. We are the most patriotic country, well sadly, maybe not as much as others because there quite a few in this country that live in America but bash America, they need to get out! we do not stand for that nor ever respect that! and bring anyone outside of NBA to dunk is disrespectful to the ones that are in the NBA. what the problem is, the choices NBA picks to have in the dunk contest and the superstars of the game do not want to dunk but if you put in big money, they will play.
