The reason we can get KD cheap Without gutting the roster is The same reason Luka’s a Laker and Butler’s on GS. Its must see TV and they just signed the biggest TV deal ever and the ratings are down the most ever so they gotta deliver a better product for TV.

Why tf are we getting KD. Even if we get him for free, that contract will kill the bank. Also we got our own KD. His name is wembanyama. If anyone will say he's a mentor, what will he teach wemby? To discard loyalty and hop along teams? Don't get this wrong, KD is a great player but i believe he wont be a good mentor unlike CP3. If we're going oldies, why not go for Curry instead. It will definitely clear our lack of 3s efficiency.
As much as I drool over the Fox, Castle, Wemby, Durant lineup, I think that there is little chance of seeing Durant in a Spurs uniform.He costs too much for his age.
One last thing, the article that brought this up mentioned Castle as possible trade bait. If that trade went down, I would have to believe that te Spurs FO would be drinking heavily at the time they did it. No way is Durant worth Castle in a trade.
