I'm actually surprised the Lakers didn't grab him instead of Alex Len. If Moses Brown is anything, he's a lob threat. Granted there are so many other weaknesses in his game he couldn't even hack it here (or maybe Kidd just didn't want to play him) when we still had the best lob assister in the league

I think this is a good signing. The Mavs will lean harder on PJ Kessler and OMax as post players. It’ll be good for Dallas to be able to have Moses for 10 minutes give or take a few minutes? Maybe he can have a game or two where he is a surprisingly better defender? Either way he’s really tall and the Mavs are really undersized along their front line in a crazy way. He’s tall and will try so Kidd will know what to do with Moses.
Kelley was given some mins but he is unplayable because he lack nba experience and seemed to be not yet in nba speed. for sure highlights in dleague he looks good but seeing him go up against nba players was an eyesore. Moses brown at the very least is the best option

We got to trade to get Luka back. I wouldn’t care if we traded Klay, he’d be happier back in California anyway. I love Klay but if we had to trade anyone for Luka, I’d say Klay. But it’s hard to say because Klay has been playing his best basketball lately! Cooking! Scoring, blocking shots, setting up his teammates, AMAZING, LEGEND. I digress, but man I miss Luka. It leaves a hole. If Kyrie goes to LA, I wouldn’t be surprised 😢
Hi Mavs fan from Taiwan. I’m not familiar with Moses Brown but just checked some highlights. I ideas as below:
1. 25yrs old and with 7’2 height is his strength to get more rebounds if he did the box-out well.
2. The defense probably not so well but with height and body strength, probably can cover up, but the weakness will be he not good at defense the Pick & Roll and his speed cannot catch up.
3. His offense also has some problems like Pick & Roll that he seldom provides high quality screens for teammates, probably the tactics or he wants roll to the bucket faster, but due to some reasons that he seldom provide solid screens even in Blazers the team also plays Pick and Roll well.
4. Both he and Kelley probably has same problem that they probably lack of confidence to against opposing team’s center with more physical contact to get the better position to score, sometimes they will stay at baseline or dunking spot behind opposing center’s back.
5. They both need to enhance their screen skill and quality, especially the seal screen that they have no mid-range or 3PTS shots as weapons, if they could did the seal screen well, it will helps a lot for players like Kyrie to drive in and score with easy buckets.
6. Conclusion is he already played as Mavs before, I hope that he could fit in as soon as possible and have better performance at Mavs.
