I'm a hard core Celts fan, and even I have to admit that Bulls team was better than my 86 Celtics. The Bulls did it again the next year losing just 3 more games in the regular season, and taking another NBA title.
The 16 Golden State Warriors finally beat the Bull's regular season mark, with just 9 losses, but lost the title game, so they don't rate the best overall team IMHO. Steve Kerr, the GSW coach, has the distinction of being on both teams.
