Joe Mazzulla PRAISES Jayson Tatum’s Playmaking: “People — take it for granted.” | Postgame 2-20
PHILADELPHIA — The Boston Celtics cruised to a 124-104 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, with Jayson Tatum recording his fourth career triple-double in another dominant performance.
After the game, head coach Joe Mazzulla addressed whether Tatum’s approach has changed, emphasizing his consistent excellence:
“The honest answer is that he’s been doing this for a long time. People just take advantage of him, take it for granted. It’s an easy way to use him as a headline when it’s going well. He’s been doing this for years, but he obviously has continued to get better.”

I don't take it for granted, Tatum of late, well, really for a long time now is playing like Bird.
Hit me a few games back watching him passing, Bird would always hit someone in a scoring position, and it's exactly what Tatum is doing.
Like today Tatum hitting Luke amazing stuff.
Go Boston, haters will hate, oh well
Ohhh Joe. Jooooeee. I either can’t wait for time to tell or maybe you’ll clarify some statements. Because I think I remember some people trying to make a case for MVP long before and whenever headlines were good, when they weren’t so good, before the title win, and prior to you inheriting the team. 😅
Maybe it’s not being taken for granted. Maybe, just maybe, it’s simply taken this long for everyone else to catch on to what some of us have been anticipating for quite a while now…and this is a delayed reaction from everyone else.
It comes with having foresight. And I’m ever so thankful my memory still serves me well.

If they go back to back Tatum will do something that bird never did
Jayson's playmaking has changed in the 2022 NBA Finals his playmaking was not the best. The pick and roll of Tatum and Luke is great and I like what Luke is doing out there.
