This was sort of expected. Luka, is on a new team, he just coming off of an injury and your dealing with Grandpa LeBron James. Until LeBron retires or joins a new team, Luka is going to have issues with the Lakers, honestly if Luka isnāt happy being a Laker, I wouldnāt be surprised if he leaves for a new team. In my opinion LeBron Jamesā peak was when he was with the Miami Heat & his 2nd stint with the Cleveland Cavs. Since then LeBron James has been all about me me me me, stat chasing and showmanship. LeBron is going to be one of the top 10 best players in NBA history, however heās never going to eclipse MJ, Kobe, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Elvin Hayes, Sean Kemp, Willis Reed etc. I would take Wilt Chamberlain over LeBron any day.

Luka still seems like he has a injury. Id be interested in knowing what his rehab was behind the scenes mavs vs lakers. Maybe after all this stuff that went down the mavs did little to none proper rehab. Maybe set him up for failure knowing they were to trade him. Who knows. I've watched almost every single one of his games with the lakers. Honestly, opponents are putting him on the spot on defense because LeBron James doesn't play defense like he used to and Luka never had to respond for that in dallas. His offense numbers spoke for itself and defensively he just kept getting out of shape and he thought he could be Nikola jokic his way through the league. but he's not 7 ft tall and he's not going to live in the paint forever. He's getting exposed when fast guards are playing against them and they are purposely putting him in positions where people are going to be left open unless he switches quickly.
