Rj is the best player on the team
Won't be happy if they trade RJ. His stats are the almost identical to Brandon Ingram, in fact a little higher RBG, and APG. He's young, productive, and Canadian who wants to be here. Unless it's something too good to pass up, I'll be pissed if they trade him.
Scottie is not a franchise player
Who cares about RJ. People should be concerned about their new "superstar face of the league" Barnes and how he continues to put up garbage stats. This guy is about to be making MAX money and hes out here putting up 13 points shooting 4-12..
Scottie ain't doing much better
RJ Barrett is only 13 months older than Scottie. RJ is over delivering consistently – Scottie is underperforming consistently.

If RJ stays he is not the number 1 option and is currently best suited for 6th man. RJ is a good player but not their best or most skilled.
He's been our best player this year without a doubt, he's a year older than Barnes. Still young and improving. At the end of the game when they gave the ball to Scottie I knew he was going to turn it over or take a bad shot. Then IQ took a bunch of bad shots in OT. RJ should be our pg and we should have IQ off the bench

We need to keep all 5 starters quick, Rj,Bi,Barnes, yak going into next season. We need to see what we got going forward.
RJ is what he is. He's a guy who can only play like a first option scorer, but whose toolbox is too narrow to be a first option scorer. Sure, he has been our best offensive player – but we suck LOL. To me he's the new version of DeRozan. He's just not good enough or versatile enough to be your alpha dude, and I'm not sure his game is suited to being the second option. And I do think his game has some overlap with Ingram. Sure, he's "only 24" but he has been in the league long enough to know what he is. Players like him rarely change substantially at this phase of their careers.
Hea better than Scottie Barnes so they better not shop him
It doesn't matter if you think he's been the best player on the team…his fit around what this team is building is what matters … If he can be traded for players that fit around the cornerstone pieces better, you do that.

Welcome to raptors fandom. They want to trade every player the second they don’t play as well as they THINK they should! I’am born and raised in Toronto and I have been a diehard fan since their inception. But R😊aptors fans are spoiled and annoying. Ever since the championship it’s been this way
Love all of our players but I never understood/understand the throne being given to an unproven player who is really a work in progress offensively in Scotty and disappears when needed, offensively. One is great offensively and the other defensively. That’s that!
He is an incredible slasher…but their spacing won't be great. They are too heavy inside and mid range. Maybe if they replace poeltl with a stretch center like brook lopez
