Don't you think that net 4.4 rating is a bit misleading? Since Rudy's only missed two games this season and plays 33 min a game…wouldn't those 867 minutes without Gobert largely be bench time minutes? It only says that we have a pretty good bench.
They call gobert the stifletower for a reason he's good at making good contests and creating screens. The problem with gobert is that he doesn't do it consistently. Missing gobert does hurt us a bit but i think it's not a significant loss. Now everyone knows why naz reid is very important to this team
They'd have beaten Houston if Ant had a pulse in the 4th quarter (dude air-balled a layup) and McDaniels would stop taking bets on how many shots he can miss when Edwards passes him the ball. Dude misses EVERY shot Ant feeds him. He''s awful.
Minnesota failed for years with a defensive limited but offensive talented center with KAT and the only success they had was with Gobert at center. Suddenly you want another center not as good as KAT as either offense nor defense but somehow now it'll work?
Naz is a 4 and a 5 in spurts, the guy can barely stay on the court guarding talented 5's. If you want Ant spending minutes guarding opponents centers then wondering why he's gassed and can't close games you can go on and try a season with Naz at 5, maybe some people really miss the excitement of the lottery.

Just imagine if we kept Naz at PF and had a bigger center that could shoot the ball well, rebound, space the floor and still play defense/block shots. Maybe someone like this Karl Anthony Towns guy on the knicks? He seems pretty good. I think that team would be hard to beat!
Like conley, i dont mind gobert starting, and depending on the matchups whether he closes games or not, also considering his age as a big man, like conley he shud also playing on limited minutes. But yeah i think the wolves do nid him tho.
He's garbage like KAT. Get rid of him. Then we just need to get rid of Ant. Then we will be the old Twolves we know. Who liked last season when we were really good? Just sets us up for disappointment. It's better if we just suck all around.
Idc if Rudy’s offense isn’t great. He holds our defense down and sets good screens for everyone. Naz needs to be pf not C and should be starting over Randel.
