Win the chip !
Given how this award works and what voters typically notice, only Chet could have won DPOY. But a healthy Thunder team basically is an all-defense team with some extra all-defensive players coming off the bench the bench to back them up.
Also, Wemby is a great defender…but he also shined on a terrible defensive team. All of his heroics only managed to make the Spurs the 18th ranked defense. And now they're talking about Jackson winning it for a bottom 10 defensive team.
