Seems like an obvious 3 team race for the championship this year. Looks like okc, Cleveland, and Boston have separated themselves from the rest of the league at this point. Interested to see if the young okc team can make a run this year though. Such a young team without much playoff experience.
They didn’t resign Frankenstein. That was very dumb. Never pass on a monster.
Knicks really spent 5 first rounders on mikal and gave OG a 200 mil contract thinking they were gonna be the Jay stoppers 🤣🤣🤣
They wouldn’t get passed Cleveland either 😂
So basically… we are SO back
Knicks have lead the Celtics for a total of 52 seconds this year . Enough said.
Well one more thing. It doesn’t matter what Brunson and Towns score. They give it up at the other end.You can’t hide 2 turnstiles
Has anyone found out why Thibs had a hobbling KAT on the floor in garbage time?
I think Holiday’s shoulder was really bugging him. I can definitely see how that being off affects the shot. Been solid on defense but shaky on offense. Definitely encouraging seeing him shoot well after some time off.
You're totally right about Horford. Calling it now, there will be at least 1 playoff game we win because of Al
☘️☘️👊
Even if they tanked to #4, their reward would be the Cavs
John what do you think about the Celtics since the mini slump
The J’s deserve all the kudos they got from today’s game, but Derrick White was huge! And efficient. When the Knicks had climbed back into it near the end of the 3rd, it was important for Boston to come out strong in the 4th. White did just that with his shooting & passing. Jayson & Jaylen are obviously the catalysts, but when they’re performing well & White’s doing his thing too, this team is a monster. Like John would say: “who you going to leave open when these guys are all playing well?”. Looking forward to this week’s games. Detroit playing very well & with the exception of one blowout, has played us tough. Then Cleveland & Denver.
Thanks John! ☘️🔒
I loved the effort from both teams. Fun basketball.
The Knicks traded themselves out of contention. We could easily have traded away our bench for $$$. Thankfully, our front office is every bit as good as our team.
See Celtics fans? You NEVER talk about your team trying to avoid any opponent, well, EVER…but especially in the 2nd round. What a joke. IF you are a contender, it's that simple: contenders avoid no one, ever. All the years of whiner fans wanting to avoid Miami absolutely nauseated me. Media + loser-generated BS. If you're the best, you play anyone and everyone.
Nothing like watching the champs dominate at both MSG and at the Garden! Wasn’t worried at all in the 3rd, the champs showed a little mercy but then put there foot back on the Knicks throat in the fourth for an easy win 🍀🏆 😂
Never seemed like they were going to let it go even when they let up some. JT has really taken it to another level. You can feel he knows he controls things and isn’t just obligated to score. Now that is fun to watch. 🍀🏀🍀
The J’s make us championship eligible and the guard play makes us Champions
KP is a cheat code that makes up for errors or slumps.
I would've hoped that Torrey Craig would've had a little 'burn' today, especially that Pritchard didn't have it, and to give JT and JB a little bit of rest. A bit concerned too, that they lost that 27 point lead that went down to 4, which required more minutes for the starters. DW looked great though, and JH looked like he did last year. Let's Go Celts!
Jayson And Trae are young owners of the New York Knicks. Great start by the Celtics. Yes, they fell off a cliff a little in the third quarter, but the thing is, they held on and did not let go of the rope. Talk about learning through experience. Both Jays out playing Towns and Brunson, but I feel bad for Towns after he got hurt, and Tibbs was dumb to bring him back in after getting injured. He must think this is NBA2K.
Great win for the C’s. This should shut up any doubters. When we beat the Cavs Friday I don’t want to hear anything until June.
Don’t say “Jayson tatum’s shooting” people will have a fit. 😂
And Towns did too little after shooting three in Derrick’s face, yet Towns is scared to post up when having a mismatch.
I wonder where all the haters and doubters at now 🤔
I am more concerned about Milwaukee because of Giannis and Dame than the Knicks. The pieces in the Knicks do not fit.
Knicks are fools gold. They’re talented and have real good players but they are small. They don’t defend. And Thibs rotations are horrible because the bench is underwhelming. Never thought they’d challenge the C’s. Celtics on the other hand look like they flipped that switch and are ready to make a run. Defense has been immaculate the past 6 wins.
And Tatum is on another level right now. Ima get roasted but Tatum is a rich mans Magic Johnson. 🤷🏾♂️
Amazing game, Tatum is a bonified top fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive on any day no matter what. He is my M V P
It was a good game by the ☘️😎
I don't think I've enjoyed a national-studio postgame as much as the actual Celtics game before, but almost the entire panel — including Stephen A! — doing a "no moral victories here, but hey, the final score wasn't as awful as other games" was worth the wait.
Unless we have a significant injury at the end of the season..
Go Celts.We love ya.
WINNING!!!!!💚☘☘☘
“Jayson Tatum’s passing….. of the ball!” – another great pod John! ☘️🔥
Good W. They are starting to ramp it up, in January the might have let the come take over, playoff prep
Tatum is the Beast in the East,.Best Player in the World; he owns New York'🤔🏀💯🍀🏆🏆#0💪🏾.
He passed?!😱
Jk 😜
RIP (The NY Knicks via) Jayson Tatum's Passing. 😆☘
