Nikola Jokic DIMES His Way To A Career High 19 Ast In Indiana | February 24, 2025

The Nuggets defeated the Pacers, 125-116 tonight in Indiana. Aaron Gordon contributed a team-high 25 points to go with 5 rebounds 2 assists and 2 three pointers, with Nikola Jokić adding 18 points and a career-high 19 assists. Myles Turner finished with a team-high 23 points along with 3 steals for the Pacers in the losing effort. The Nuggets improve their record to 38-20 with the win, while the Pacers fall to 32-24 for the season. The Pacers’ next game is Wednesday, 2/26/2025, against the Raptors on the road (7:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network – Indiana), while the Nuggets continue their road trip on Thursday, 2/27/2025, when they face the Bucks (8:00 PM ET, TNT/truTV/Max).

    I think one way we'll describe Nikola Jokich once he hangs up the boots for the last time is as follows. There has never been a player who had a greater genius for taking whatever the defense gave him.

    Great to see Gordon hit some threes lately. Murray has stepped up recently but that bench is still pretty thin and Jokic needs all the help he can get.

    He actually had a triple double, he clearly has an offensive rebound at 3:19, which was counted at first and then later subtracted for some reason, according to his stats he had 0 offensive rebounds. And coincidentally betting sites save money when joker doesn't get a triple double 🙃

    Helps when Gordon is hitting those 3s, but wow that Jokic/Braun connection is real. Braun is gonna be in the NBA for a long time thanks to Jokic making him look good (credit to Braun for finishing the dimes)

    Jokic is averaging a triple double this season on his way to a 4th MVP‼Nuggets need to tighten up their D after being embarrassed by the Lakers or they will be gone in the 2nd round‼

    on this klip I saw 14 asist,10 of them is old school.I am from Serbia,and I must tell in the era of burkley and Jordan this would be nothing special in numbers- 10 asists is real ,the other are not real asists

    Center that is averaging a triple double is a better passer than a PG ( Shai). Shai is a great player but he is not at the same level as Jokic. You cannot compare the stats. Jokic should go down as top 10 player of all time; personally for me top 3. Every game that he plays there is a highlight of his passes and its such a joy to watch. Basketball is a team sport and he knows how to play it. Beautiful to watch.

    So "the book is out on Denver" 🙄 on being very physical with them, and swarming Jokic on and offball with multiple bodies. I actually think its a VERY good thing it seems teams are going to be playing denver like this in the regular season. It gives them plenty of practice dealing with it before the playoffs.

    Side point for my fellow Denver fans – I think Strawther is unplayable in the playoffs, BUT I think Pickett would be playable. Malone should give him more playing time over Strawther imo
