Of course the mainstream media is going to move past the shady moves that were made that placed Luka in a Lakers uniform because the same group of billionaires that make moves like the Luka trade, sign their paychecks. And it wasn't just the Mavericks owner that made this trade happen. This was a cabalistic power play. Mavericks owners don't have a net worth of 32 billion dollars because they make historically dumb decisions. Literally everyone benefits from this move accept for Dallas Mavericks fans.
As a Lakers fan, u are completely out of touch. If the Lakers had the Mavericks roster and the Mavericks had the Lakers roster, and LA was a small market that not only drafted Luka, but raised him as not just a son but the face of the City, and Dallas was the bigger market and this trade went down, u would react the exact same way as Dallas fans.
Luka wasn't traded because of conditioning, work ethic, or a supermax. He was traded because he's the best player in the league. Of course, Lakers fans are going to pretend the trade was on the up and up because they don't want an asterisk attached to their Larry Obrien trophy 🏆 but that's the difference between fans with integrity and fans without integrity. If Dallas wins it all with this trade, I won't celebrate the win because of the corrupt agenda behind the trade to boost ratings, even at the expense of an entire franchise just because they don't help the league in keeping a once in a generational talent as a small market.
But if that's the case, why does the league even have a draft. I will tell u why. It's because they are giving the illusion of fairness. That even the little guy has the opportunity to make it to the mountain top.
Well, the Mavericks were three games from standing on said mountain top. And we're supposed to believe that he was traded for conditioning reasons. Or that they were afraid he'd walk after the season was over, even though he bought a 15 million dollar house in Dallas. Or that the owners, who's net worth is 32 billion dollars, didn't want to open their wallet.
Sure, Nico will benefit from Lukas insane shoe sales now that he's a Laker. But this is so much bigger than Nico. This is a conspiracy that involves billionaires and lawmakers. This involves people rich enough and powerful enough to control and buy the judicial system. That's why there will be an investigation but only through the court of public opinion.
And now that I no longer have a team to support, I have nothing but time on my hands to bring the truth to light, until everyone involved is exposed. Even if there isn't legal action taken, at the very least, the people of Dallas will have their answers. And hopefully by knowing the truth, we can keep this from happening in the future.
