I'm willing to go 3/66m on Middy. As of today. So far as his recent play? As a casual Okc fan I've seen it all before. As you say? He needs to keep it up. And as he continues to put decent stats up? As before teams will zero in on him. Going down this stretch if he can convincedly overcome that? I'd go 3/75m for him. But I wouldn't get crazy like…5/150m. I believe Josh is near his ceiling. And thats not bad. And for extended years and money? He needs to have exceptional games coming up. Truly exceptional. We have a few teams playing for something coming up.Clippers, Pacers, Cavs, Magic. Heat, Rockets. I expect sustained high performance that contributes to winning…even in losses…from the starting PG of our Chicago Bulls.

They Got Giddey for Cheap because they are going to have to sign him to a long term deal or let him walk at this point. Giddey was not good in the playoffs and OKC realized that and moved him. You can be a regular season all star, but if you cant carry in the playoffs you are not a #1. Bulls are going to be stupid again and overpay a #3/#4/#5 like he is a #1 and start the Zach thing all over again. If wants max money let him walk. If you cant pay him like a #3/#4 then let him walk. Every NBA player can put up numbers when they have the green light in the regular season, while on a team with no viable hope for playoff success. Do not fall in love with him, let him walk, he is not a NBA #1 or a NBA#2.

i'm loving seeing all these gymnasts doing their backflips! Josh comes from a good family had an unfortunate interaction he has kept his head held high and has tried his best and this is the result. As an Australian I'm proud and as a fan I'm happy for the Bulls

He is an awesome small forward that can pass. Shoot but just not dribble the ball up floor. Watch in the Olympics where he was great but most so much ball running the ball up with little control. Bulls should have him as 5 year $130 million max player. He would be damn great player on a team like the Lakers.
Caruso is washed= up good trade
He’s doing exactly what he was drafted to do: develop! That’s what he was drafted for, his potential. Instead of enjoying his development, too many fans hate on him because we didn’t get a draft pick. He was a number six draft pick, on a team overloaded with talent and picks for the future. Chicago rightly identified his potential and drafted him. Of course, OKC were not going to give him for free, so we traded. I 100% believe the bulls will be the winner in this trade.

OKC did not know how to use him with a superstar that must have the ball in his hands a lot. Giddey is a team player.
If you've followed his career to date he has had hot streaks where you think his 3pt is viable and will be a big feature and then he'll go on a month long streak of being abysmal, so I'm not 100% sold on that part. But this Jan-Feb is probably one of his longest stretches of at least league average or better 3pt shooting and he's on pace to improve his 3pt% for the 4th year in a row. (He's gone from bad >below average>average>slightly above average this season so far). Of course there's been some awful shooting nights during that time but there have been more good ones, I don't watch every bulls game but it feels he is taking more 3's from the sideline/corners which is helping. He is also getting to the line a bit more which is good to see. He's never going to be Steph from beyond the arc – that's the reality but he doesn't have to be, he just needs be respected enough so defenders don't sag. Cautiously optimistic for him
I'm an OKC fan and while we're having a heck of a season I absolutely hated the trade and think it was beyond idiotic. Trading a 21 year old rising star like Giddey for a 30 year old one way defensive player who is past his prime and injury prone (Caruso) is just really stupid. I support Caruso because he's here now but he's sat out tons of games this year with injuries and if he has to sit out in the playoffs it's going to hurt the team. Chicago absolutely got a massive steal with this trade and he will do nothing but keep getting better.
Giddey was an easy target who couldnt make a mistake with out being ripped a new one. His defence has been improving massively for months now not just 8 games….. he has been in great form the last 13 games. When he has played bad the whole team has been rubbish also and the entire teams defence has been rubbish
