Cleveland Cavaliers Obliterate Orlando Magic! | Are the Cavs the Greatest Offensive Team EVER?!
On this episode of Locked On Cavs, Danny Cunningham (The Inside Shot, 92.3 The Fan, Cleveland Magazine) provides an in-depth analysis of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ commanding 122-82 victory over the Orlando Magic. Despite the absence of Darius Garland, the Cavs showcased their depth and offensive prowess. Danny highlights Ty Jerome’s standout performance, noting his consistency and potential as a Sixth Man of the Year contender. The episode also examines De’Andre Hunter’s significant contributions since joining the team, both defensively and offensively. Danny compares the Cavs’ current season to last year, emphasizing their unexpected success. He concludes with a discussion on a possible playoff matchup against Orlando, arguing that the Cavs’ improved performance would likely lead to an easier win than last year’s series.

Thanks danny
2:40 right, ORL focused a lot of defense on Mitchell, with the trap and also just doubling up on him. He and the Cavs handled it the right way, he got 5 assists, and the Cavs just have too many offensive weapons for that to work. As the 40 point win attests.
Cavs overcoming some playoff demons from years past this pass week. Much improved from the last couple years.🐸🏀🧙♂️
Very underated show smh keep goin mane 💪🏿
In Koby we trust. "No moves in the offseason, keep up the chemistry." Let's add Kenny A, become an offensive team. Everyone flourishes, including Ty out of nowhere. Koby: "Our only weak spot at any position is the 3….let's see if we can grab Hunter who is on a 6MOTY campaign, gifted 3, and was already teammates with Ty in Virginia which could help us convince Ty to stay next year with salary cap trouble."
Very impressive win! Rotating every one and keeping the minutes down was very good! Since they are staying in Orlando, matbe they can enjoy Disney World or Universal City or both!
Dude we look like we're going to coast to the ECF! This team can score 100+ by the third quarter on most nights, but can we do that against a team like Boston? Get the popcorn ready!
Oh Danny, stop it! Hunter is a much better player than Strus and he could easily be the starter. The Cavs are obviously starting Strus so Hunter can help the Cavs second unit to prevent a drop off. In fact, Wade and Okoro are both arguably than Strus. The Hunter acquisition has been a huge success so far, but the work of the Cavs coaching staff and the GM cannot be overlooked. Their decision to keep the core intact has been nothing short of remarkable. The congruence of the team from the core four, to the subtle differences made by the role players (such as Merrill, Porter, Wade, and Jerome), to the late pickups of Tomlin & Green, albeit a minor sample size, shows that the marriage between the Staff & front office has been brilliant.
