All the shitty loses really don’t matter that much when we can do this to teams in Houston and OKC.
Young pups balled out tonight. This team's potential is crazy.
are they better without Gobert out there?
Finally!!!…. a legit level up season for Jaden. The first one of his career that isn't just based on number of minutes played. But actual realized improvement in on court basketball aspects. If the past several weeks Jaden is the new norm, i am ok with him being a suspect three point shooter. Every player has a flaw. But if he can ever get that aspect down. We might be looking at a future all star one day. I think he needs to not do catch and shoots. At least right now. Doing off the dribble or step backs has a more rythmic motion to it. You dont think as much you just shoot. Vs wide open you think about doing the perfect shooting motion which can mess some guys up.
I hope the bench Gobert in a series vs Thunder if it happens. Randle is ok to play i think. We do need one more big in case Naz gets in foul trouble. Trade Gobert this summer and find another different combo big that can at least space the floor on Randles level to keep defenses more honest and open up the floor more for Ant. I am also ok leaning into being a top 3-5 offense and a league average defense vs what we have been doing. You need good offense to win in clutch time. You can make stops all you want but if you cannot score it does not matter.
Great breakdown!
