Jokic can do whatever he wants, he can go for 40 pts and "only" 14 reb and 9 ast.. or he can go for 29 pts, 15 reb and 19 ast… which is insane. This proves he will try to do in each game whatever he thinks his team needs. I do think Jokic made one a big mistake during the game against the Lakers. Jokic thought that since he was continuously guarded by 3 Lakers players all the time, it was a good idea to give more assists and hope his fellow Nuggets players would make the right shots, but they failed. I think Jokic, since he is so big, should not have tried so many assists but try to make shots himself because we all know he is able to shoot even if guarded by three big players! I hope next game against the Lakers, he learned from that mistake which costed the Nuggets about 25 pts.
