great analysis, cavs goin all the way this year!
Can’t wait for the ECF.. Cavs vs Celtics gonna be a movie! Cavs in 7 tho
if anyone thinks the Cavs are losing in the 2nd round to either the Bucks/Pacers/Pistons… youre crazy.
this is really crazy to see. last playoffs, cavs were cooking the magic and even celtics every time they played fast and made multiple passes. they built multiple 10 point leads playing this way. every cavs fan in the world was begging for them to permanently play fast and share the ball. but bickerstaff just wasnt built to make that a part of their identity. they’d do it for a quarter or two, but the end of every game is always gonna be slow and stagnant on a JB team. kenny coming in and instilling a fast paced, unselfish identity into these players is impressive. they’re all young and learning every day. sky is the limit for this core. they’ll be contenders year in year out
wtf is the background music
The Cavs legit have 7 starters on their roster that can perform this system in Mitchell, Garland, Mobley, Allen, Strus, Hunter, and Jerome. Out of that, they can field one of the most impressive starting 5's in recent memory, and still have at least 2 competent starters in every bench lineup or situational lineup. They're just flat out better most of the competition the whole game, every game, and it's not relying on hero ball, MVP performances, lucky performances, Harden free throw glitching, LeFouls being called in their favor.
You leave out Jarrett Allen in your beginning and its strange. I mean if you watched any games you would realize his worth. BUt if you watched Orlando you could see him switch onto Fran about 4-5 times in a row and he challenged every one of them and it was 4-5 misses in a row. His presence is unmeasured by stats.
