Great player on a great team, slightly underrated. Most underrated player in the league is Donovan Mitchell. Hopefully will get his flowers if Cavs win
Stephen A. Smith corrected himself about who won ecf MVP & still got it wrong 😂 so help me out, does it count as a correction if your correction wasnt CORRECT? 😂😂😂😂
SAS stunned it was GOAT BIRD and not dunkin donuts. Also, Molly prefers +1.3 ppg margin and +2 allstar selections over +3.5 rpg, +1.6 apg, and +1 1st team all-NBA selection?
Lets all be honest Tatum dont have that charisma and Aura but regardless he is a great player.
Tatum does not have:
– Ant’s Personality (media loves this)
– Ja’s flair and swag (fans and media love this)
– Zion’s athleticism (fans and media love this)
– Curry’s shooting (media loves this)
– Bron’s everything (you know)
His game is effective, surgical, amazing. But…
Very mechanical, no swag, no “poetry” like Kyrie. He has no edge like Ant.
Had he played with a killer instinct using his athleticism and IQ, people would talk about him.
But he’s too boring for the media. Always says the “right thing” and the media will not keep talking about him.
He is an amazing player, but not the total package.
He didn’t even play in the Olympics or won Finals MVP in his own team.
Having said all that.
He IS an AMAZING player.
Defo top 10.
Tatum scored most on the all star weekend yet Curry got it
He just isn’t as good as most people make him out to be…plain and simple
you know it’s bad if you getting cooked by molly
He wasn't even the best player on his team on their finals win Brown was
Mollys voice 🟰🙉
Let put the stats of the second best player on there team and in Tatum case the first best player is Jalen brown
Those other guys were not the second best player on their team and if they had been add 5 points to each column
He needs an mvp to breakthrough if we’re being honest. I think he deserves one eventually and he’s been close but it’s needed

Bird and Jordan were the best players on their teams

Bird and Jordan were the best players on their teams until 26 years old
For starters the guy actually plays every night
How is he underappreciated when he isn't getting paid like he is?
💯💯JT🤝🏾💯💯
He’s boring
I think if they included a few more statistics it would be nice as well
Jason Tatum is a basketball superstar, arguably a top 3 player in the league, but they ain't putting him in the next Space Jam
Tatum needs to realize when he got benched in the usa games the whole world was mad that lets you know how much we all appreciate his game
Jaylen Brown is better. Lightskins always get more praise than dark skins 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Jaylen won both East and Finals MVP
Stephen A's arguments about tatum you can also say the same with timmy, but timmy was considered the best in the league for about 4 years…not tatum..at best tatum right now is top 5.. maybe in the next three years, he can be top 3..but i doubt he will be number 1, unless jokic, luja, sga, and wemby will suffer a serious injury..
It feels like he is underappreciated because media always talks about Bron or Steph even when those guys' seasons are not good.
jt great player but he has a SQUAD but still i do think he is underappreciated because of that maybe
it's nice to finally hear these "analysts" admit their bias against Tatum and the Celtics.
Media ruined Tatums spotlight. When his teammates perform, it's still about Tatum. No one trying to hear all that. No one really cares now, when he deserves the credit.
MVP is the key, he need that
He has a great game but a plain personality. All the current and past greats have something magnetic about them outside of their skill on the court.
I'm really trying ESPN… these women you have on here are BORING to the max.
SA SAID WHO MICHEAL WAS PLAYING WITH AT THE AGE. BUT IF KD NEVER WENT TO GOLDEN STATE HOW MANY RINGS WOULD LEBRON HAVE NOW ? AND WOULD LEBRON EVEN BE PLAYING NOW IF HE DID PASS JORDAN ? I’m just saying. Smh
Jayson Tatum "drafted to a winning situation"
Larry bird "drafted to a mediocre situation"
Michael Jordan "drafted to a shitty organization and situation at the time" (Coke infested teammates)
This dude mad dog always glazing Larry bird and MJ. Absolutely no reason to bring them up
Tatum became corny when he posted the Kobe text. Plain an clear
Molly, why are u interrupting? So annoying
Mad dawg a straight hater he’s not good at this media thing bc he so obsessed with the past
Tatum is over rated, all star that’s it- not elite- that’s why he didn’t play in the Olympics. All he can do is shot threes and do dribble post ups, ball hogging disrupts offense
I hate these. They ignored MVPs entirely to make MJ and Bird look comparable to Tatum. Also, averages aren't perfectly comparable and ignore efficiency and eras.
Whos here after Thompson broke Tatums ankles tonight?
I'll have to agree with Mad dog here Tatum is a very good player have all the tools. However Bird was the best player in the NBA by his third season MJ as well 1987 MJ put the league on notice he just didn't had a complete team around him to win and Tatum always had the team around him to win and if he was that great of a player he would've had two championships because he shrunk against GSW in 2022.
