Toronto Raptors fall victim to the 3PT variance monster in highly ethical 111-101 loss to Celtics
The Toronto Raptors fell to the Boston Celtics 111-101 on Tuesday night to drop to 18-40 on the season, as the three-point variance proved to not be their friend. In Episode 1815, Sean Woodley goes solo to react to the Raptors’ loss, talk about why the process the Raptors displayed was as sound as you could ask for, talk about Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley all looking good outside of their wayward jumpers, dig into some rookie performances and more. Off the top, Sean outlines how the Raptors’ core three guys all fared in the game, and why their performances all would have looked much better with a little make/miss luck on the good three-point looks they created. Next, Sean gets into the play of Jamal Shead, who rules, Jonathan Mogbo, who’s coming along, Ja’Kobe Walter, who’s smooth, and Jamison Battle, who didn’t play but probably should have. Lastly, Sean runs through The Good (Mogbo’s defensive flashes on Jaylen Brown), The Bad (IQ & Scottie’s pick-and-roll timing) and The Hmmm (Quickley-Barnes-Walter as a trio) to round out the show.
