Durant is not a slam dunk Top10 player he’s in the Top8-17 GOAT tier somewhere.
I just watched the draymond green podcast we’re kd was kinda talking about how and why he didn’t t wanna go to warriors mid season because of sum of the baggage and the way his contract is constructed but he also said because he wanted to try to figure it out with the guy already in his locker room and kinda hit me like man were did everything go wrong with this team

The issue was the owner didn't have patience and overpaid for every trade. We gave up way too much for the players we got.

We gave up too much for KD! If we had Bridges in the 2022 run, we would've beat the Nuggets! We gave up way too much for Beal and we didn't get enough for Ayton! The owner needs to have patience with trades!
Man you guys talk about wanting continuity but you always make the argument trading away good role players for a top player is always the move. Maybe cam and mikal were fine and we just needed to find some other players to build around them and Devin. You also act like people were expecting cam and mikal to become all stars and I think you’re wrong. I think most people just saw them as solid players that can be part of a good team.
For context I’ve always argued that Kevin was too expensive of a trade.

The Suns have proven they do not know how to build a team. Look at Golden State and Dallas, much better team builders. Also, can't win with iso game, bball is about passing and helping your friends.
Where it all went wrong for you guys is when u traded Ayton away and also traded for beal . THAT KILLED EVERYTHING FOR YALL .
The suns should have run it back with Ayton, KD , book , CP and find a wing defender and a back up PG . Simple . The GM ruined everything

As much as I don't like the Beal trade cause the fit sounded weird and it left us with having Book play PG. We would be OK with it if we had a good Center. We are now mad we can't trade Beal for a good Center. Beals been good for us when he can play. The DA trade was surprising for me regardless of the issues we had with him. I said from the beginning that we traded for Grayson and Nurk was a throw in. I feel we would have an extra 10 wins with DA. Rebounds, more Points, Defense. We would be much better. CP3 would of helped with th TO and rallying the team, but the Center position has been an issue even last year with Nurk, people choose not to see it, but I did.
Its the Bradley Beal trade that doomed them
Look at haliburton, brunson, luka, SGA, Ant, Ja, Paolo, Cade Cunningham yhese are franchise plalyers not devin inconsistent booker..Just watch his game against tall athletic defenders, he always struggles against them teams like rocket, okc, wolves, grizzlies, magi, lakers, cavs, etc he cant score against them.. He is by far the poor defender out of all top 40 all star selection shortlisted palyers..No wonder he got least votes from Fans, palyers and coach.. He always looks for his shots, often selfish at times.. Its crazy how he is franchise player.. lucky for him in 2021, Kyrie, AD, Harden, Jaylen, Tray young, jamal, Kawhi, Klay all got hurt..It never happened like that in the History of the NBA . All top players from 7 teams had to end their season .. Just imagine if jamal, luka, Jalen brown, Ant, SGA , Ja Steph, got hurt. Current phoenix might even win it all so people act like the suns were a great team that beats every team hands down to enter finals. It's just pure luck.. He is so lucky to play in the last olympics. What did he do in the last season, played so poorly and got swept by the wolves..Does he even deserve to be in the olympics ahead of Jalen brown? PG, harden, Michelle, and as starter ahead of Tatum?? Man he is so lucky..
You do the KD trade every time but there was no reason to overpay so heavily. The firsts and 1 player would have been enough. Should have been able to keep Cam or Mikal. Not getting Beal to waive the NTC also a massive blunder. James Jones built a pretty cohesive team before the KD trade imo
the Beal deal fuk everything. see If the warriors, mavs, Rockets, Clippers, lakers, nuggets, My Knicks, spurs, wolves, okc, Heat, Hawks dont have a great run in the playoff's this year all them will do everything to get KD. now imagine Spurs My knicks wolves okc get kd without givin not much players from the starting line
