  1. Spurs are looking like the Kings right before Mike Brown was fired.

Castle FINALLY had A good game after being inept for the past 3.

Keegan Murray is shooting 40 percent from 3 over the last 11 games. He shot 30 percent from 3 when Fox was with the team.

I was called embarrassing by A fan on these comment threads for insinuating that Fox brings Keegan down and doesn't bring the best out of Him.

Fox is having that affect on Spurs players now. Entire team is playing worse.

Monte traded for a better shooter then Fox way better energy and is legit genuinely happy to be A King while Fox moped on A bitter rivals podcast and said his teammates weren't good enough.

Once again Monte is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers rivals you

  2. Monk isn't consistent enough and isn't unselfish enough to be your primary ball handler. He's not always dialed in enough mentally either.

  3. Kings played really good this game. The jazz are a good match up for the kings because they are trying to find themselves and the jazz are not good enough to stop them but at the same time keep up a little with their offense.

  4. Regarding the turnover issue, I think they will get it fixed for a couple of reasons. Today a good chunk of them came from trying to make flashy plays like the alley oops and the outlet passes. Those can be cleaned up easily. Also we saw the starters play heavier ish minutes because Doug wants them to practice against other teams to get more reps. So that’s why they were still on the floor in the fourth with like 3 minutes left when the game was decided. I think this was a game that they thought they could use to solve some issues.

  5. Too much isolation ball though. It's great to have that but there still needs to be smarter plays with pick n roll, dish and jams, turn around lobs, transition passes. The defense still was iffy sometimes but it's better then getting in foul trouble and losing the game. Zack is great but I like incorporating the new point guard. He is really good and if he can get in shape he can be a huge find.

  6. Overall this team is way better than last year's team. Jonas is a great find and he needs to get in better shape and play more. The kings have depth now. Many good players on the team.

  7. Pretty sure the Kings beat a healthy Celtics team in that streak, let's not forget that. They're 17-10 under Doug christie and in a lot of those games, Fox didn't play all that well and some of them he wasn't even present for. My glass is absolutely half full over here – LIGHT THE BEAM

  8. I really like having Jonas now for that Denver matchup. Maybe he can play a few more minutes in that one, and having Keegan deal with Aaron Gordon really helps

  9. The only reason we're making a big deal out of turnovers is since that warriors game the Kings lost bad because of them. That was a rare game. They are still learning to gel together. Plain and simple. The turnovers are already trending decent to good. This game they only had 12.

  10. We're a better team now than we have been. Yes we have to clean up a few things but we are more well rounded and not supper dependant on one player like we was with fox. Our bench is better and deeper, and our offense is unpredictable . Anyone can get hot any given night. As the games stack up I see nothing but improvement and better chemistry

  11. Honestly, my eyes were bleeding while watching this game. Very low technical level. In UAB vs. South Alabama we would have seen a more interesting game.

Anyway, the important thing was to win and continue to build some chemistry, but we hope to see better performances in the next games.

  12. Maybe not focus so much on the starting lineup. Remember when Monk was coming off the bench to provide the spark? That is now Keon's role and he's doing a phenomenal job at it.

He still can be a force off the bench and still get starters mins depending on the opposition. I agree with you that our starters are somewhat lackadaisical at times, but Keon comes in and we immediately go on runs. Great spark to have.

We have the balance to attack other teams offensively and defensively now…especially with our new acquisitions. Let them cook. They are starting to figure it out.

One last thing, I saw a little aggression out of Keegan last night. The guy is crazy talented. The day he actually demands the ball on offense is the day we start our run toward a championship.

  13. your opening is totally spot on.. they win when they need to win BUT they can not throw lob passes! lol
