If the Raptors draft 7th, then I’ll be pissed. All that losing to get a pick that you hope will be a decent starter. So basically what they’ve already got in spades. That said, Tre Jones would be my pick, and I would desperately hope he ends up to be way better than projected, otherwise the season was not worth it.
I'm really starting to like Liam McNeeley if Maluach is gone I think Liam is a better fit. 6'7 Movement shooter big body 3 level scorer, can defend good size. Prefer a bigger shooter but with Gradey and Battle may be redundant. Jackucionus will likely be gone at 7 but would be my pick if available. It may be a stretch but Asa Newell might be a good option if Raps want a Center and Maluach is gone.
People need to realize the 7th pick in the 2025 draft would have been the FIRST pick in the 2024 draft. And that’s not BS Look at the players. Alex Sarr and Zachery R would be picked 8-9-10 in this draft at best. I would be really disappointed if Khaman Maluach is not on the Board when the Raptors pick. I know Masai wants him bad. There’s no doubt in my mind. I also know he loves VJ Esgecombe to Cooper/ VJ and Khaman are all Masai guys. If we some how do drop to 7/8 that would be really bad news. The only way maluach drops is if duke gets bounced early in March madness. His numbers do appear to be limited, but he’s the fourth option and barely gets touches. He will be at worst the third or fourth best centre to come out of Africa. Embiid the giant baby Mount motumbo Then malauch. Might seem crazy now, but time will show all
Maluach will most likely still be available 6-8+. I'm not saying he's an ideal pick, but a lot of folks have been keen on him if the Raptors fall out of the top 5 and he could fill a serious need.
A smart guy would pick Tre Johnson at #5 or even #6 its a guaranteed talent 100%, I be happy with #TreJohnson# 37.5% from 3 17 shots per game or #RasheerFleming# 43.5% from 3 half his shots are from 3 only takes 11.2 shots per game
Hard to go wrong with a shooter like Johnson at 7. My preference would be one of the two Frenchmen likely available in that range – Noa Essengue and Nolan Traore. Like them both for different reasons but I’m higher on Essengue. Feels like a very Raptors-y guy and reminds me a bit of a young Pascal Siakam with less hops.
I love watching ur videos 👍🏻 if raps get 5th-7th pick i would like to see them take a PG, C, SF/wing before a shooting guard out of the top seven guys u made videos about so far. I agree u shoukd take top talent available but i feel fit matters more in our case. Aka. Joel embid to Toronto bad idea lol
Would be kind of dope to have a proper rim running / rebounding big if we drop that low – haven’t gotten one of those in first round since Jakob Poeltl
Like I said in the Maluach vid – I'm leery of picking him because I don't know if the talent level is enough to start moving pieces for him. And I'm worried that he's one of those guys that have a star's style of play but not level of production, those guys are difficult building blocks.
I'm kind of wondering if they should (or could) trade down for more bites at the apple if they drop below 6th. Historically there's usually someone at the 13-20 range that pans out better than most of the lottery.
I know a lot of people are not very high on Tre's fit with us, but honestly, his three point shot creation and ability to relocate and shoot is so impressive. Until those numbers from gradey and ja'kobe are consistent, they should NOT be considered redundant as shooters. Given our likelihood of trading one of the starters for financial reasons, I'd be curious to even consider adding one of our recent shooting guards to see if we could further buy on some new player that becomes this available (i know this is blasphemy)

Hello folks, I hope you don’t mind that there aren’t any video segments in the game recap. A bit of a time crunch for yours truly today!
Edit: I just noticed I made a boo-boo with Scottie’s stats and entered his last game’s stats.
WE'RE BACKKKK (haven't watched the video yet but I already know it's a banger 🔥)
Scottie B is out @IND – according to ESPN will update if its wrong
The Draft if its best available, could be a SG for the 3rd year in a row lol
Almost No one could hit a 3 on the Raptors – maybe somebody can break J.Lins record of 18 straight missed 3s off this clunker
and ya a no clue what IQ was doing the entire game, especially that last play – but then again its Boston so cares

Hot take: I would rather raptors pick Derrick queen or Collin-Murray boyles instead of tre john
Man egor demin really dropped off the face of the earth
Tomislav Ivisic
Either Tre Johnson or Khaman Maluach

I wore a siakam raps jersey for tonight's game lol u think its bad/good luck? Or am i being too superstitious lol
If you're doing this after every loss, you're going to run out of draft picks to talk about

Centre/big or point guard. We already have too many wings.
