Been saying it since he entered the league…Bol Bol is that dude. If I remember correctly, Gil was saying Bol was lazy a few months ago🤔.
Both of the last two suns coaches didn't know how to implement Bol. They both didn't even play him most of the seasons. When Bol did play and came into the games when suns were down, it changed the flow for the suns to make a comeback. Frank would play Bol, suns would make a comeback with him and then he'd stop playing him again. Bud hasn't played him the majority of the season. Consistently getting time, he is proving how the suns need him. Not making an argument that he's a superstar but he's a piece to a puzzle that Bud and Frank refused to use to get closer to completing the whole picture. Bud also has some weird thing for Plumlee in the final moments of games than getting taller players to rebound or even Bol to be there to rebound, pass, and shoot. Gut feelings and all is what Bud says.
Nick has to actually watch the games to see why the Suns lose when they play Bol. Just playing him doesn't tell the whole story on the coaching staffs decision making that cost the suns games. Also thinking Bol is just shooting and being selfish. Far from it.
