I’m so happy the 2021 draft is panning out with some top tier talent now. Always knew the draft was deep but it depended how good the best guys could get.
Mobley will be a top 5 player within 3 years
He has had to guard Garland and Mitchell everyday for 2-3 years, and you can see over time how that has helped his on ball defense.
He deserves to win MIP

As a Cavs fan, I’m very confident in saying this team will win a championship. It may not be this season, but everyone who’s important is inked up for at least the next three years. I guarantee you, we will win at least one chip dude that time period.
That first highlight was definitely a travel
Mobley and garland both deserve MIP and MVP nods which is insane for a team which already has the best shooting guard in the league, a great all defensive center, and a well rounded deep roster. This team was already great and underrated last year but with these two improving so much alongside Atkinson as a phenomenal coaching addition this team has potential to be an all time great team.

Thanks so much for such a detailed analysis of this one of if not the most underrated player in this league. His height, athletism and 3-point range shooting is really like a modern-basketball version of David Robinson. And he is ONLY 23 years old! Incredibly wonderful young star.
mobley is literally bam on steroids when it comes to defense. i cant recall a single player in history who's been able to be a top 3 rim protector and elite perimeter defender besides draymond.
Why the Lakers breakdown is so short?
Atkinson just unlocked another level of him. Putting the ball in his hands more and encouraging him to shoot more from the outside and not park himself in the dunker spot has all been good for him in terms of development.

the similarities defensively with younger giannis are crazy. pretty similar strengths and weaknesses, giannis was more of a free safety and struggled with navigating screens too
