Why The Rebuilding Raptors Bet On Brandon Ingram

Why The Rebuilding Raptors Bet On Brandon Ingram

If it wasn’t for the Mavericks moving Luka Doncic, the Raptors would’ve taken home the title of trade season’s most confusing team when they acquired and then extended Brandon Ingram while 20-plus games under .500. The bet on Ingram is a fascinating one – A buy-low acquisition that simultaneously carries plenty of risk for a rebuilding team.

  1. You're completely wrong about Ingram. He'll average 27 to 28 a game and the raptors have one of the best training and player building organisation's

  2. Tank is still alive for this year, bought low on an all star, and there's reason to believe the Raptors will be competitive next year. Rebuilds don't have to last 3-5 years like the Wizards, Hornets, and Jazz.

  3. Scottie cant hack it as a scorer, so let ingram be the main guy and scottie can develop like kawhi did slowly

  4. We all knew ownership would not commit to a full rebuild, so this is either going to get lucky or blow up in their face for not committing and set us back further.
