I rmbr when charles brickleyβs boggle minded ass saw Ja approaching the height of his career then hopped his tired tongue ass on TNT and proclaimed that Ja wasnt a good PG bc he didnβt make his team better. Mind you the Grizz were 2nd in the West that year. Shaqβs tired ass n That same goofy ass crew is now saying that Ja doesnβt shoot the ball enough, after sacrificing much of his minutes to the good of the teamβs development and longevity. & thats the reason I canβt stand to hear mainstream mediaβs take on anything pertaining to grizzlies basketball. They use tv & apps to manufacture this fake ass superstar aura amongst βbig marketβ team players and this βface of the leagueβ bs based on behavior and deem that itself as marketability. βRigged!β I see the grizzlies being punished for not being friendly enough, pop and cornball enough, and not buying into unfair social responsibility amongst a league of fans that donβt respect the game past the city they live in. Espn, fox, or every other network that has something slick to say about our style, dwells on old shit from the past, or compares us to anybody that stole our swag in the first place can kiss my mfn ass as a grizz fan and a whole Memphian. & when the Grizz finally wake up and embrace the fact that theyβre never gonna love them then we can get back to kicking some real ass and actually mean it!
