I totally disagree with the older guy's take on the Celtics. I don't believe that the Celtics are the clear cut favorites to win it all this season last season they were clearly the best team from beginning to end but that's why last year is last year. This is a brand new season and even though the Celtics shoot the most 3 point shots and make the most they're not even the number one scoring offense and are far behind the highest scoring offense so their offensive approach is horrible because they are not even the most efficient 3 point shooting team or the highest scoring team when they shoot all those 3 pointers make it make sense to yourself." Let's Go Cavs"!
Boston Celtics math just not adding up this season. The team that is attempting the most 3 point shots per game and making the most 3 point shots per game is not the team leading the league in scoring averaging per game? Boston's offense isn't efficient that's why they can be had this year and that's why they are not the best team in the league this season!
Celtics are still the prohibitive favorites to win the Eastern Conference and the NBA Finals. They have multiple ways to attack CLE, whether it be Garland, Strus, or even their bigs like Mobley and Allen. As for the Cavaliers, as good as they are, they don't have as many weakness points to attack Boston as Boston does to CLE. If BOS is fully healthy as is the Cavs, BOS will win this in 5-6. If Boston is missing some key players, then it is a coin flip pick em.
Chill should know better being of our age tier. In 2001 Kenny Anderson said of the Celtics losing a 20 point lead in a game, "A 20 point lead in this league ain't NOTHING …" and now it means even less with the 3s raining all over the court.

i think this is all about the nba needing a white in shining armour. It's not about the talent. The NBA afns have always had a love hate relationship with most NBA players. Most baiters have made their bread criticizing the NBA 's level of diversity. I've seen great team's over the years that have been disbanded just because they were all black. Case in point: the new York knicks. In 1979 fans complaned and boycotted the Knicks all black team. Though they had the best starting record in the history of the franchise. given all this and the climate of anger and hatred for the generational wealth capabilities of the players. That certain sports announcers have whipped up in the so-called more affluent communities. The backlash is real! i believe Gildess Axelander should be MVP too!. But we know it aint about the talent!
