  1. The champs deserve to be knocked off for starting off the game vs the Cavs with 10 threes in a row. Worked for a while, but then … Really, chucking up three after three is basically unwatchable and hopefully the basketball gods reward welll-rounded teams that pound the rock, too.

  2. Nnajis defense is KEY. Our biggest weakness has been closing out on 3s, he’s been ELITE on close outs. He constantly hinders the 3s

  3. Huge mistake was not trading MPJ this season. He's just not cut out for big games. Murray also too much inconsistent and slow. Nobody else can't shoot,so when playoffs come, they'll all be useless. I think they really missed out Atlanta trio (Bogdanovic,Hunter and Capela). I think Atlanta would take MPJ and whoever else would be thrown in that mix and Denver would have nice balanced team. Capela could cover Jokic. Bogdan shooting of the bench and Hunter would provide drive to the basket and toughness. I have strong feeling Denver playoff with end up just like last season.

  4. DAJ at the level is unnecessary w/Nnaji playing as he is. Malone really needs to play to the benches strengths better. My biggest gripe of… all of Malone era lol

  5. Years ago I started watching Locked On because I was a big fan of Adam's work. Over time Matt has become my favorite Nuggets analyst.

  6. I’m surprised Matt thinks the baseline matchup is that heavily in favor of the Celtics. I’ve listened to a lot of Boston media and that’s the one matchup they fear in the Finals. Oh well, we’ll see !!

  7. Very nice analysis of the game and also Jamal's development! It is a great point that playing with Jukic is both a blessing and a curse (mostly a blessing, lol). He makes the game easier, but in a weird way, that might actually hurt/impact their development because they become dependent on him. It's like if your parent does something for you constantly, you won't learn to do it yourself. Thats why the non Jukic minutes are so bad, these guys forgot how to play without him simplifying the game for them 😂😂

  8. Tomorrow at Boston will tell us something. Nuggets have beaten inexperienced teams and lost to veteran ones in these last 4 games.

  9. Denver hasn’t won a single game against the Knicks, the Wolves, the Cavs, or the Celtics. I don’t see the Nuggets having any shot at beating the Celtics, who can drop 50 threes a game, ‘cause they got no perimeter defense.

  10. Boston is one of the stronger teams with a better defense. So, triple-double Jokic, Murrey below average, MPJ lost and shooting below average because he won't have free shots, the rest are solid but not enough without the contribution of MPJ and Murrey. In conclusion, another lost game, but that's nothing new.

  11. Go Zeke. He's been playing great D and playing his role perfectly.

Probably trust him more than any other bench player.

  12. Jamal’s new nickname it’s the Comet Murray cuz out of 3 games he has 1 good one 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 where everyone says he is back but when he plays bad it’s “well jamal didn’t play great”

  13. Saying that Jamal was good in the last playoff run is pure nonsense… This game is the first one I remember where Jamal played really well against a physical team. This is very, very good, and gives me confidence that he is really "back" as some people claim. I do agree with the rest what was said. Good show.

  14. This is the coolest, deepest, most dispassionate, analytical commentary that i've ever seen and heard from Matt. 👍👍
