    Man, as a non american I've always struggled to pick a franchise and I still do to this day… I love the game, the players, the rivals, those stories I wasn't there to witness, but this feels like cheating the game itself. I almost know nothing about Dallas, but I can tell you that I've tried to be like Dirk when I was young, I knew my body could not move like Kobe or fly like MJ. The Mavs represented loyalty and they not only betrayed Luka, they betrayed their own city. It might be only money for them, but they just killed the spark in many kids hearts 😢

    absolutely terrible, horrible, no good very bad trade. I was initially saddened thinking he abandoned ship, but I'm hearing he had no idea. going to turn out terribly for the mavs, imo. truly one of the dumbest things *ever*. they get anthony davis (LMAO) and some bum rookie 1st round pick.

    I feel for all of the Mavs fans out there. This is bs. No disrespect to AD at all, but the fact they didn't even shop around makes zero sense. Teams would've been fighting like hell to get him.

    The Luka Doncic transaction was not a basketball decision. The mavs owner; the adelsons; don't give two spits about basketball. They're bribing the heck out of TX legislators but not enough to legalize casino gambling. Plan B is to tank the team (hence, mysterious illnesses, random "injuries" all across the roster, Doncic nonsense trade). Kyrie will leave. The $35.3B owner is trying to alienate MFFLs then tell the TX legislation in 2027 that the mavs are not viable. THEN relocate to adelson home base vegas in 2028. Lakers get their golden boy face of the franchise and nba increases ratings, and vegas gets a team. Corporate activities. Power corrupts.

    Owners don't care about the fans. They want to move the team to Vegas, and that means they need to make it look like Mavs don't have a strong base in Dallas.
