Cavaliers beat Trail Blazers 133-129 in OT

What a thrilling night at Rocket Arena! Our Cleveland Cavaliers showcased resilience and determination, securing a 133-129 overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The game began with the Trail Blazers taking an early lead, outscoring us 27-24 in the first quarter and extending their advantage to 54-42 by halftime. However, our Cavaliers emerged from the locker room with renewed vigor. A 37-point third quarter narrowed the gap, setting the stage for a nail-biting finish.

In the final quarter, we demonstrated our offensive prowess, adding 40 points to force the game into overtime. In the extra period, our defense tightened, allowing only 10 points while our offense sealed the win with 14 points.

De’Andre Hunter delivered a stellar performance, leading our scoring with 32 points, including five three-pointers, and contributing seven rebounds. Evan Mobley was a force in the paint, recording a double-double with 20 points and eight rebounds. Jarrett Allen dominated the boards with 10 rebounds and added 12 points. Off the bench, Ty Jerome provided a significant boost, scoring 25 points and dishing out six assists.

On the opposing side, Deni Avdija was impressive with a triple-double, tallying 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Anfernee Simons added 27 points for the Trail Blazers.
