Ja can’t shoot and is fragile…otherwise he’s amazing
Last several games have been hella disappointing tbh
I’m a fan of everyone on our team but Ja always on the bench is irking me. He was standing up coaching during the Spurs game while Trip was carrying on his back. Getting frustrated…
One thing i’ve noticed is the whole “movement” thing stops when Ja Morant gets the ball. I don’t know who to blame that on, Ja is not an Isolation scorer. I get he’s the guy but guys just expect Ja to drive so they stay out on the perimeter. Then Ja is expected to beat his defender and try to finish but ultimately is losing the ball or getting tangled up with defenders. I don’t know maybe i’m wrong but it’s something i’ve noticed.
The same old thing since the beginning of the year. Questionable lineups, turnovers out of control and star players constantly sitting out games. It’s frustrating watching this team right now because the issues haven’t been addressed and I’m afraid it’s going to be an early playoff exit.
Dan Hurley, who was wanted by the 17x NBA Champs, is showing this season that he can win with sub-par talent. Give him a young, talented Memphis team without a player with a huge ego (aka LeBron) and we’re immediately in the Conference Finals.

This team has been going downhill every since Ja decided to change his playing style… This is why he is struggling… Ja is not skilled enough to play "Below The Rim".
