Great game would be perfect if they lost ….. tank!!
They stole Fernanda Torres' academy award
Raptors didn't score in like the last 3 minutes and still Magic couldn't pull it out. #Tankmode in full effect yet still winning too much…..
Darko can't even tank right
It’s not a tank, it’s about putting young players in difficult situations to learn for the future. 😃
That is what ethical tanking looks like. You get your guys into a position to have them develop and Jamal, Jakobe, Orlando, Mogbo need that NBA minutes during these tough periods in 4th quarter to learn how to sink or swim. I know we can win with Jakob, RJ, Scottie, IQ, Gradey in the rotation but the question we need answering is can we win with the other guys on the floor. We are developing good culture, good work ethics because these young guys get to experience the high standards required for a winning mindset. I think at the Bulls game the young guys sunk, but this game you can say they waded water; so I'm looking forward to seeing them figure out how to swim in those situations because it will make our guys better overall for next season. Whether we win or lose doesn't matter much in this game because Philly beat Golden State so the delta remains between Raptors and Sixers. I really don't get your frustration here … these decisions are not about "tanking" but about developing and that developing will invariably look like tanking because that's the best we can do at this stage of the season. So yeah I think it's still ethical tanking … unethical tanking means playing vets that are bench players over young talent ie. playing Garret Temple or Kelly (when he was here) over Mogbo for example.
