REPORTS: Kevin Durant, Phoenix Suns Will Work Together On Trade
The Phoenix Suns appear to be on the path to trading Kevin Durant this summer, and ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the two sides will work together to send the legend to a contender. Man… Durant had a great career and is still a good ball player. That said, please don't trade him to the Wolves… he broke down the Suns and he will do the same to the Wolves.

I predict KD is going to the Grizzlies. This summer they will have the cap space to absorb KDโs contract with nearly 30 mil dropping off the books. PHX will be able to take multiple players for KDโs contract bc they will fall below the 2nd apron. The Timberwolves are dealing with apron issues also. I see it being a 3 team trade. Grizzlies, 76ers, & PHX Suns.
– PHX gets 2025,2028,& 2030 1st Round picks & a 2027 second round from Philly along with Paul George.
– Grizzlies Get KD & Oso Ighadaro
-76ers get Brandon Clark, Marvin Bagley (sign & trade), Grayson Allen, & a pick Swap
3 team trade and somehow get our boy Cam Johnson back to the Valley
at the end of the day kd is worth about 3-4 first rounds 2 swaps and a young player or 2

First Ant, Jaden, Naz are untouchable they are the core even DDV. A Randle, first round pick and two 2nd round picks is what KD would cost Minnesota. The Timberwolves have a great GM in Tim Conley who knows how to make a winning franchise hence the Nuggets 2 Championships he was behind that and when he left thatโs when we made it to the western conference finals! Why do people act like KD just gutted the whole Suns Team? They lost 2 players Cam and Beidges and KD is still better than both of them and if you watch him he still is a really good defender when he wants to be. Matt Ishbia & James Jones Gutted the team. They got rid of everyone from players to coaches except for Booker. KD went to the suns with the expectation of playing with Booker, Chris Paul, Ayton and probably a couple others. He also went there thinking Monty Williams was going to be his coach. His first year as a Sun they looked pretty good and weโre the only team to beat Denver twice and thatโs was without Chris Paul. Yโall become prisoners of the moment
Fire the GM and move from there. last year was the supposed to be the "feel each other out" year but decided Vogel wasn't the right guy. They then found a guy who made Vogel look like Coach Pop in comparison. That's not on Bart, that's not on Mat, that's not on the roster built or the pieces moved around… that's on the GM who coveted Bud since before he even joined Milwaukee. This is JJ's vision of what the Suns should be: coaches and players frequently fighting with each other and player voices being silenced as they emerge as leaders unless it's CP3 who Monty was always predisposed to favor due to their past as teammates.
They completely gutted the team after the 2nd round exit when we first got KD. The Suns were the only team that beat the Nuggets twice (Nuggets won the title that year). Following year they got rid of everyone other than Booker, KD, and Okogie. Completely revamped and brought in Beal's NTC and the $50m+ contract. That was their down fall. That huge contract from beal could have gotten us better support players. I'm not sure why they even picked up a guy that basically plays Booker's position. I'm no owner/Front Office guy, but I would never have traded for a player with a No Trade Clause in case it didn't work out. Look where we are now. Beal has no trade value. Not that he isn't a great player but I don't anyone would want to pick up that $50m+ contract.
If they trade KD, It's basically a rebuild and I don't think Booker would want that. That's why there are other rumors saying there are talks about Booker wanting out.

Durant needs to stick with a team or retire already. All he's ever done as a basketball player is jump on board super teams or teams attempting to be a super team. The warriors. The nets. The suns. Whatever legacy he thinks he's playing for doesn't really exist.

A lot will depend on how contending teams do in the playoffs. Bad playoffs might push those teams to thinking Durant is what they need for playoff success.
There is a market for KD but Ishbia is going to ask for too much. Ishbia acts like he got a 25 year old KD.
