Davion has been a great complement to Herro. HAVE to have a defense first guard next to Tyler, and Mitchell’s offense has been surprisingly really good for us.
I think we either need to use Tyler to trade for an Ant Man, a two way guard that can close for us and up our defense across the board. That’s the most unrealistic being that their aren’t very many guards that are both better than Tyler, and play strong defense.
Another option is to use Wiggins to trade for a more offensively aggressive, downhill type wing. I like Kuminga here. I don’t think he’s necessarily better than Wiggins, but fits the role we have Wiggins in, while also being a great defender, insane athlete, and more on our timeline. It could take a season, but I do think Kuminga will soon eclipse Wiggins.
The third option would be to sign Myles Turner, and have Ware come off the bench with Jovic. Those two can be dominant as they fill out and get stronger, especially against 2nd units. Their chemistry is undeniable and having a good 2nd unit is super important.
We definitely have the bones of what could be a great team again. We just need 1 significant upgrade.

I like our current build but if we could get Drew Smith back next season at back up PG, we’d have a solid two way back court. Though I like Wiggins, I think we might need an upgrade at the 3 in a 24 ppg scorer or higher and Jovic coming off the bench when he’s recovered. It’s a dangerous team.
