Brad you were right about Zac’s 3 point shooting almost having to improve in the second half of the season. If one of these days you could give a statistical deep dive on Trae young and why he might be such a streaky scorer from different spots that would be cool

I can think of the strip from Fox earlier this season, the steal from KAT to bring the game to OT and now Desmond Bane.

Awesome doesn't even do it justice. Caris blew my mind in the 4th quarter 🤯. I guess he was hearing about how the Hawks lost this trade after Dre dropped 32 yesterday. I was in the comment section of another video earlier today talking about worst case scenarios if Caris doesn't emerge as the professional scorer he was billed as being. He went way beyond that in the 4th quarter tonight. 7/8 and not one of them was an easy shot. He's got a great motor and played really good defense in that quarter too.
Which is worse:
We shot a better percentage from the field (57.2%) than we did from the line (52.9%).
We let the opponents grab more than half of their own missed shots.
I didn't know either of those were possible, I'd feel pretty confident in guessing a team has never done both of those feats simultaneously and won.
Brad you're letting the Capela haters get to you. I thought he was noticeably wrecking the game on defense for stretches and I can live with 11 points on 9 shooting possessions for sure.

FT woes continue and yes, it could’ve cost us the win. I think the Hawks play better if they concentrate scoring in the paint rather than from beyond the 3point mark. Hawks have a chance to get a second straight win against a depleted Bucks team tonite
Great win by the Hawks!!! However, OUR #1 PICK..deserved to be out there at the end! He was fabulous!! Dyson Daniels and C.Levert can more than man the backcourt. Trae was not good at all from the field and 5 to's…Just saying Zacch deserved to be out there(aren't we trying to develop him? and give him confidence?) instead of Trae! Like that size and length! Zacch stepped up…not a good Trae day! Quin…GOTTA reward and develop…ZACCH!
GO Hawks…can still climb to that 7 spot!!! Magic and Heat are beatable! 7 is alot better than 9 in terms of play-in spots!
