Kyrie Irving is the latest Dallas Mavericks player to go down, suffering what the team described as a knee sprain early in the Mavs’ blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings. Jaden Hardy later left the game with an ankle sprain, too. Dallas is already without Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford, P.J. Washington, and Caleb Martin, and now the team’s on- and off-court leader Irving is out too, possibly for a long time. It’s just unbelievably bad luck for a team that once had title aspirations.

There is only one force responsible for 'this' and his name is J Kidd. Just think, what is the cause of any injury? Lack of the focus required for a certain level of activity, nothing else. When you push your athletic abilities to the limit, the need for greater focus is shown, which allows the athlete to not get injured. Those who do not understand this dynamic will be constantly injured and those who expect an athlete to constantly play at their limit but do not know where the athlete's actual limits are (not only athletic) and do not understand the mechanism of focus management, are to blame for the team being constantly injured. Dallas' team management is incompetent, JK should be the first to leave not Luka, because he is not at the level of this roster, he demands more from players in order to cover up his incompetence.

Mavs fans… I’m so sorry I don’t know what else to say, and I know many don’t want to hear this but watching Luka with the Lakers has been a blast and one of the most fun sports experiences I’ve had. Your happiness is what’s important not wasted loyalty to a corporation.

As someone who is not even a Mavs fan (let's go Warriors!), I must say Kyrie's conduct this season has been sensational! He has truly exemplified true grit and leadership amist some horrid circumstances and can you see how hard he plays every time he is on the floor and he never gives up (I really enjoyed seeing him be an all star again and enjoying himself too).
