It’s time to admit that the Jenkins/Iisalo experiment has failed, our talented rookies can’t cut it when it counts, and Ja, once electrifying and unstoppable, is now too fragile and unreliable to lead this team into any finals.

Huff has been a spark off the bench ALL season!!! He gets no minutes ?? Even when JJJ went down …they play Konchar, Steven’s, or Bagley???? I don’t get Taylor’s rotations and the timing of the substitutions….this is 3 very bad losses and at home !!!
The Rotations that Taylor uses are horrible!!! I don't get it!!! GG looks totally lost, Vince must be hurt because he can't guard anyone, and we got a big who can shoot in Huff that can't get on the floor! Didn't we pick up Bagley? Why get him and not use him? When we lose three straight games that should have been wins, I have to look at coaching. I'm sorry cause I like Taylor, but I don't see him getting in their azz but instead acting like he is their friend and not coach.
Can't do anything but laugh at this point. Clearly our goals are to just make it to the post and try again next year
He is not a good coach
Jenkins defenders all season after any criticism:
"We're #2 in the West!"
"We haven't lost 3 consecutive games"
"We're top 10 in offense and defense"
"We're a deep team…true contender"
Well, none of those are longer true, some never were. So what else do you all got? What can you say now?
I think if we stay where we’re at or even if we make it to the second sees and we lose in the first round of the playoffs Jenkins and Bane are both gone
I noticed that Ja never moved his right arm during the game to celebrate or shake another player’s hand. We have to accept the possibility that he has never fully recovered from the AC sprain earlier this season. It could explain his poor perimeter shooting and unwillingness to finish with his right hand.
Although Desmond Bane played a good game for 3 and a half quarters, he folded when the game was on the line…. He had 4 straight bad possessions… The 1st one was a shot off the side of the backboard… The 2nd one was an air ball from the wing… The 3rd one was a travel from the other wing… and the 4th one was him getting the ball stolen which led to a game winning layup… He also had 5 turnovers in this game…

Grizzlies are so disappointing! They build the fans up to let us down.
However it goes, we are stuck with TJ atleast for the rest of the year 😢😂
Used to think Jenkins would be gone if they were eliminated in the 1st round, now I’m not sure he will make it to the post season.

Joe please respond. But Taylor Jenkins is not a good x and o or rotation coach. He doesn't adjust well or know when to put his best players back in the games when teams are making runs. It's strictly rotations. Some nights ja may only need to play 30 minutes but a different night may cause for 38 minutes. Lebron at 40 consistently plays mor minutes. Last like I said before we need a ex nba player to coach who has a feel for the game I'm tired of Jenkins sitting ja for 10 straight minutes after the 1st quarter

Turnovers. Bad timing for that turnover to instantly result in the loss but you play the whole game. Plus the load management stuff is getting a little overdone. If Jenkins is gone, who are you gonna find to fill the spot? Can't handle it like the grit and grind era where you had a different coach every other year at this point.

You can’t sit your best player because of a soreness !!! If the lakers sat Kobe for soreness you wouldn’t have one of the best of all time. These guys have access to some of the best medical they get massages anytime they want just like a D1 player x 100 . If he can’t stand up and celebrate with the team on the bench he can play .

Yeah the stats don’t reveal what wrong with us rn. You have to see it with ur eyes, it’s bad. We got no fun.. no direction.. and a coach that isn’t a good leader for this crew. Jenkins just doesn’t inspire or empower his players. We’re at the point we need a coach who can light a fire even when it’s raining.. cuz it’s pouring in Memphis rn.
@Joe Mullinax. 🔥 Jenkins not so fast. We are depending on 2 rookies and 2 players signed from the G league to play significant minutes. We need veteran backup for Eddy that's able to start. The same with Wells or have a veteran guard not named Luke Kennard who can guard someone on the floor. And yes Marcus Smart is washed.

Turned the TV on and the 2nd quarter score looked like a 3rd quarter score that is your issue. if your not getting stops playing your style of ball your not in control. it is luck. and scoring and offense will not be your identity cause theres other teams that do it better with better defense -cant coast and expect to clutch up in the end always. any team knows this. team needs a deeper look inside themself.
memphis might be the only team in the top teams in the west in which games and scoring seem too easy. they love to run track meets. i would be irate if i was tjenkins no ball stoppers bane isnt enough. no good help defense slashers on defense no real rim protection edey is a rookie jj is not a rim protector. they need to slow there play style down. experiment something different at this point it may save your season playing a different style and adapting depending on what is working and isnt in the moment

It dont matter where we are 1 though 8 we are not winning any playoff series and Jenkins saying not concerned about where we are in standings is proff of his incompetentance , it definitely matters what seed you are ,i say it doesn't matter anymore because of his coaching and lack of getting better at the trade we actually got worse while others got much better
Man, Jenkins haters are really intolerant of anyone who doesn't totally agree with them. IMO until our "Big Three" actually play the majority of games together, focusing on Bane's last ten minutes, or Jenkins lineups misses the elephant in the room. It's time to start getting ready for the playoffs, and if our plan is to "stay rested" right up to the playoffs, better plan on trying to make a run from the 6th seed. C'mon guys, time to man up.
