Mavs new ownership aren’t worried about winning they are worried about Casinos. They didn’t want to pay Luka so they sent him to one of the most Historic franchises in sports. They did the NBA a favor to receive one. That’s why nobody knew about the trade and no other teams were told Luka was on the market.

You cannot convince me that the casino moguls who have been trying to get gambling unbanned in Texas. Are not trying to get the team back to Vegas. Raising ticket prices after trading the franchise player is the perfect F.U. To the fan base they needed. Now they just not pay Kyrie and AD because they are “injury prone” then they will literally have nothing for the fans to cheer about. The move to Vegas will be easy then.
