The Mavs Worst Nightmare Just Got Even Worse…

The Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis about a month ago, and everything has gone wrong since. Davis played less than 1 full game before getting hurt and now, Kyrie Irving has gone down as well. In a devastating turn of events, Irving tore his ACL in a loss against the Kings and what was already a disaster for the Mavs, has somehow gotten even worse.

  1. i didn't believe in karma until the mavs blindsided, bamboozled, hoodwinked, led astray and completely betrayed luka doncic their star player and future face of the league. im never going to do bad by anyone ever.

  2. Kyrie felt like the 12-13 year where Kobe snapped the Achilles. He was guarding harder than ever, taking on more of an offensive role than ever. Leading more than ever. He was trying to will that Mavs team to the playoffs and it’s terrible it ended this way.

  3. I feel bad for Klay Thompson, I feel bad for Kyrie Irving, I feel bad for the Mavericks fans, this was the weirdest act of self sabotage I’ve seen in a while.

To have a team that was literally just in the finals, and just tear it down just for the sake of doing it it’s really fucking weird

  4. Admit it, it’s usually entertaining to watch a team go through calamity (see Sixers) but this just feels wrong to have happen to a team! I Don’t feel bad for the front office (at all), but my heart bleeds for the fans (most of all) the coaches, and the players in that locker room.

  5. The owners know what there doing. They will sit on the team for awhile then sell for billions more. Its just for more money . They don’t care about the team.

  6. when they said 2025 was embarking on an alternative timeline we all laughed except Nico who was like forget alternative let's forge a new path into upside down world

"Nico, that's an idea so stupid it has to work" – No One Ever

  7. The season for the Mavs is over. They wont even make it to the play in tournament. Motivation of the remaining players is probably low in the basement with everything happening since the Luka trade.

  8. Nico and Dallas management is weird as hell,
they want more money and ticket price increase but they trade one by one the players that can cash cow for 10 years even without winning championship.

  9. I've been a Mavs fan since 2002. I thought seeing Steve Nash walk and Dirk losing in the first round in 2007 were the lowest points this team would ever see. Boy was I wrong 🙈

  10. The owner is probably trying to move the team out of Dallas. I mean who in the right mind trades their franchise player for a glass cannon like AD who's old. Unless they have a notorious plan like transfer the team elsewhere like teams similar to the sonics did in the past.

  11. I could see the trade making sense if the 2 cornerstones the Mavs had were reliable durable character guys. But Kyrie and AD??! They don't exactly fit that definition.
Luka may be a jerk with poor work ethic, but he did play in the big games, and was there when it mattered, in the playoffs.
If you're gonna trade Luka, you might not get the same talent back, but at lest get back a more reliable & durable player or two. Nico did neither. He's gotta go.

  12. nico on luka trade: "I believe that defense
wins championships. We're built to WIN NOW
    and in the future."
Mavs after kyrie injury: 10th seed.
    patrick DOWNmont: ticket price 💹
this org is out of their mind.

  13. Prayers to DL, AD, Gaf and now Kyrie. Karma strikes and the Mavs ownership self inflicted sins shall not be forgiven. Curse you Adelson and Dumont.

  14. Not sure if you still look at comments but a video reviewing all of Nico’s moves as GM is needed

  15. Klay Thompson join the mavs to win a championship and ended up on a team that's worst than the warriors right now. Next year might be different but it not happening this year.

  16. This might be a blessing in disguise, because… well… it gives the Mavs another year. Because any sane person would decline his player option and sign elsewhere ASAP. Because a team, that trades away Luka Doncic does either not care about winning or is completely insane. But now Kyrie basically has to pick up his player option, which gives the Mavs one more season…
Then again Kyrie might be a flat earther, so any sanity goes out the window with him…

  17. I knew the Mavs were NOT making it back to the Finals after their lucky 🤞 run last year. Just didn't think it was going to be this pathetic not even making the playoffs. Lmao to all the Mavs fans bragging about getting Klay Thompson at the beginning of the season. 🤣

  18. One of the things thats really made me mad in the trade aftermath is people acting like we were suddenly a contender this year with AD. We were in the flipping finals last year! We MIGHT have been a contender with the AD/Kyrie combo we were definitely a contender with Luka/Kyrie. And with the way this roster is built I 100% think we were better this year with Luka and I don’t think it’s even close.

  19. Hmmmm,…… So let me get this straight. The new governor of the Dallas Mavericks claims at the trade wasn't about money or relocation. But they trade away a guy who was set up to make about 1/3 of a billion dollars, and as a result ran the other guy that they would have to do the max contract to the ground. Now that guy is hurt and doesn't have as much leverage to get as much money!

    Hummm…..🤔
