not getting Austin Reeves back in the Luka trade caused us to be handicapped below the apron. the saving money aspect cost us the ability to make any moves. as if we needed another reason to hate the trade.

I just want to give Mavs fans a little optimism; these are ugly times. Hear me out…
IF everyone gets healthy AD included, then why not go as far as we can?
I initially thought yes shut it down no questions asked. But I've been thinking more about it and idk I feel like the little moral victories you talked about might make it worth it.
We won't win a chip but if we go as far as we can and get knocked out with dignity it gives us SOMETHING out of this horrific season. "Imagine with Kyrie next season" kind of vibes. It gives us HOPE for next season, gives AD chemistry and time under Kidd's system and more importantly he can leave a GOOD impression on Mavs fans. He wants to prove fans wrong, the "I'm here" gestures he did vs the Rockets. Of course, if he's not fully healthy then no way will I risk him.
I'm hoping it plays out like this:
1. We miraculously hang onto 10th seed. We'll lose a bunch, but so will the Suns…they're awful.
2. AD, PJ and the bigs come back near the end of the season, they're fully healthy.
3. We make a little run, get past whatever play-in team we face. MAYBE by some miracle get past 1st round? Lose with dignity in the 1st or 2nd round.
4. We get some happiness, we deserve it after such an awful season. And with renewed hope for what we can do once Kyrie comes back next season.
5. We start to warm up to AD. We can't go out like this with just 3 quarters of AD basketball…the vibes toward him will be awful in offseason by fans. He needs to feel that love by fans and sense of belonging. I think he'll want to prove himself too.
6. Max Christie and the other youngsters get some playoff experience. They'll need it for when we win the chip next season!
We're headed for some dark times post-Kyrie and AD guys, it'll be uglier than the Washington Wizards. I just want some final years of playoff basketball, even if we lose. Of course, I wouldn't risk anyone if they aren't fully healthy.

Who is Nico?. First tortured Luka by not building a proper team and making him take the team to the wcf with Powell as a center. Leaves Brunson go for nothing.Then uses him to bait other players to come to Dallas.Fires all the guys that Luka likes. When finally Luka has a proper team around him, throws him out of the door because doesn't wanna pay him the check that he deserves for keeping Mavs gor years still worth mentioning after Dirk left . After throws him out, speaks shit about him. Not fair, not sure what Luka can do to piss off a person at this level but karma will follow Nico for life.
