Guys is talking about his frewthrows like Jordan wasnt shooting 14ft a night. Effortless 30ppg they wasnt playing defense in the 90s. 2000 and 2010 its harder to play this style because of the 2 inside bigs and zone defense era.
I hear that the defense can focus on Shai. The problem is that we have at least 4 other guys that can go for 40. Either respect the crew around SGA or load up against Shai. Either way we're getting to spots to hit shots that wins games

a lot of his points come in garbage time when starters are off the floor and he goes back in to get 7-10 more points for his 30 or 40 pt game. Watch thunder games and you'll see they don't try on defense in the 3rd quarter so their starters can stat pad

So, SGA has had some issues when they trap him after half court. I believe it was Minnesota who OKC lost before and after the All-Star break. They have young, long athletic guards. Reed Sheppard won't get it done against SGA.
Daignault should be doing press drills to get SGA & J-Dub comfortable handling the ball, then off the ball movement needs to be better from the other support players, especially Chet & Hartenstein. It seems like OKC is playing with less movement than last season. Once OKC can consistently break a press, then they will be unstoppable.
