  1. Im glad Schefter said the plain part out loud. Medicine has changed things. Period. If SOME athletes had this in the past, they would likely have played longer as well.

  2. That's all great, but not true sccross all sports; only for the sports most popular. If they make statements about all sports, then they need to look at surfing. There is a guy who is still one of the best and is 50 or 51yrs old. He has dominated his whole career with 11 world championships. Before anyone says that surfing Is not as physically demanding, or requires the same athleticism, mental strength etc first do a 10min google and youtube research. It's actually the opposite for surfing, its drastically more dominated by younger new talents while most can't compete once they are 28yrs – 30yrs or older. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame at age 23 and world wide at 27. He had no competition for years, so he retired. But a bit similar to MJ, he returned 7yrs later, won 5 more titles and is now beating the 4th generation of worlds best surfers. He is not the best any more, but in comparison he is the athlete with the best career and sports dominance accross all sports.

  3. Bruh, one guy plays both offense & defense, has to run up and down the court on each possession, leaping into the air to dunk it, and taking charges at 40… that guy is the more impressive 40 year old.

  4. Woooah, how much media especially ESPN wants Lakers to go to the finals it's crazy, watch out for those referee calls , they are ready to push them in.

  5. When players like to suggest that because you didn't play the game you can't know or have an opinion, it just shows their ignorance. Just listening to Windhorst should dispel that myth..

  6. Have that same energy if y'all lose three in a row. I don't want to hear all these excuses talking about we ain't got no bigs Luca can't play d etc etc

  7. I don't think comparing Lebron to Brady is a fair comparison at all, especially if you are talking about athlete. Brady played QB, the only athletic thing that required, was arm strength, and being able to take hits. Lebron plays 30 – 38ish minutes a night, 3 times a week, and has to run up the floor, run back, defend, dunk, and all sorts of other athletic stuff. It's far far more impressive what Lebron is doing just because from a physical aspect, what Lebron is doing requires sooooo much more. Plus, we aren't even mentioning the fact at age 40, it's not even like Lebron had a nice long offseason to rest up and regain his energy, as he played in the Olympics over the summer, and won the MVP, which was totally fair.

  8. I’d sure hope so. He plays one of the least physically demanding sports in the world. There’s no touching allowed in the game anymore…paired with all the steroids he’s been shoving into his body the last who knows how long? He had better play well lol. Acting like dribbling a ball in a league where if someone smells you the wrong way you get 15 free throws is the same as having 285lb men hitting you like a car accident every time is the same accomplishment 🤣

  9. This foo compared us to cowboys….we expect coz we actually got a bunch of chips🤷🤷

  10. The NBA is losing ratings so the Lakers & Celtics championship is already set!

I’m a Lakers fan, and I know for sure the Lakers will get there. Watch the refs fix the NBA ratings.

Cavs vs Thunders isn’t going to do it.

Celtics vs Thunders will not do it either.

    Maybe Warriors too 😂

  11. Do not bet on a Boston and Lakers finals. Espn has NEVER gotten predictions right. Dont buy into it. These guys will sell you a toilet full of crap and tell you its a dream !

  12. Greeny comparing us to cowboy fans is very disrespectful. We are nothing like cowboy fans we actually have realistic expectations

  13. ESPN personalities I can’t stand
    1)SAS
    2) perk
    3) windy now that he doesn’t break news. They keep wanting to push him as an analyst and I’m not buying

  15. God these analyst are so bad. And so smug and arrogant like they are always right but percentage wise frequently wrong.

  16. Luka Bron Hayes Knecht. Oh God. Vando also doing good. Reaves and Hachimura were not even playing. This team is special

  17. Brian Windhorst has made a career talking about Lebron and never got a single 1-1 interview

  18. Actually appreciate this segment not only giving everyone their flowers for the contributions of the game, but also you guys informed me the youth of what it takes to be great
