    "Many Men" is even more accurate now that the Lakers have given the NBA the "put 2-3 little guys on Jokic and foul the shit out of him" defense.

    It must suck to be Nico when everyone in the world is saying how stupid he is, even 5th graders. And Nico keeps flapping his mouth in the media on trying to justify the trade. Just makes him look worse. Meanwhile, Luka just lets his play do his talking. Even AD fans are like saying …damn.. really?

    Joker is a Black hole in NBA, man with the greatest gravity, pulling 3 defensive guys in to drain and it's a shame if his teammates can't capitalize! However, Gravity isn't a stat but it's probably the most important aspect of a MVP! Not to mention no calls, as if giving the other guy 10-20 charity is a plan to deny him history!
    But Joker truly doesn't care!

    Yeah what people tend to forget when they say things like 'well you should beat that team'. The 22/23 Pistons were, statistically, the worst NBA team… ever… that team would utterly DOGWALK this year's Duke Blue Devils or (name your college team here). The rostered 450 guys in the NBA are the best basketball players in the world and some of the best athletes in the world. So any team even in a struggling season can drop 125pts if a couple of guys get hot.
    There are levels to these things. I was the best player in my conference and one of the best in my state. Barely made it to the next level. Figured out at age 20 I had zero shot at the NBA. 6'3", 217lbs, 33in vert, high IQ PG, high motor and grew up an 'all year athlete' never taking a season off at high altitude in the Denver area. Didn't matter. Just wasn't quite athletic enough at my size and didn't have a good enough shooting touch (only shot 41% in college but weirdly 88% from the line) to move to SG. Like my HS Varsity Coach told me my Soph year when we were down by 16+ in the 4th and I asked to move to SG to see if I coukd help cut the lead. "Son you play point guard not just because you can pass but because you aren't a willing shooter." Levels.

    Zach won that dunk contest, but VC set the pure 'athletic' dunk to where that bar is now essentially. Ever since guys started mixing in 'trick dunks' it seems they've just given up trying to eclipse VC.

    The Nuggets aren't trading Jokic unless he wants out, and then I think they'd grant his request. In the franchise there are no questions about Jokers game, health, or locker room attitude, AT ALL. From a GM perspective he's capped at 51.5 million but provides about 100 million in performance– he's the best performance per dollar deal in the NBA. Calvin Booth (Nuggets' current GM) is an idiot, yes, but even he's not mentally impaired enough to trade Jokic. Now, he's got a player option coming in two seasons (age 32 season), if the Nuggets don't bring home one of the next two trophies I can see a scenario where he wants out because regardless of what the media says, he's actually competitive as hell. Point being: Jokic and the Nuggets are not Doncic and the Mavs.

    Unless Calvin Booth gets infected with whatever Virus or Disease that Nico Harrison got there is NO possibility for Denver to Trade Nikola Jokic at his Prime.
